ABP Network announces CEO Avinash Pandey’s departure
Avinash Pandey, who has been associated with ABP Network for nearly two decades, will be leaving the group. He joined ABP Network in 2005 and held various key positions before becoming the CEO in January 2019. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in expanding ABP Network into new verticals and markets in both broadcast and digital domains. His strategic vision focused on regional and digital expansion, emphasizing high-quality content to cater to a diverse national audience.
Atideb Sarkar, the Chief Editor and Director of ABP Network expressed gratitude for Pandey’s significant contributions, highlighting the network’s growth in reach, revenue, and impact under his leadership. Sarkar praised Pandey’s role in expanding digital broadcasting and extending the network’s presence across India, from Jammu to Kanyakumari. He also acknowledged Pandey’s leadership during the award-winning centenary campaign and appreciated his personal camaraderie and professional collaboration.
In response, Avinash Pandey thanked the Sarkar family and Atideb Sarkar for their trust and support, which enabled him to contribute meaningfully to ABP Network’s journey of excellence in digital and broadcast media. He credited his achievements over the past two decades to the exceptional team he worked with and emphasized the lasting bonds forged during his tenure.
During his tenure as CEO, ABP Network became India’s leading television and digital network, operating four 24×7 TV channels and offering content in eight languages digitally, reaching over 500 million viewers. Pandey also founded ABP Studios, known for producing award-winning films and TV series, and currently serves as the President of the International Advertising Association (India Chapter).
