IOAA Launches OOH Pinnacle Awards to Honor Industry Trailblazers
The Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA) proudly presents the debut of the OOH Pinnacle Awards,
scheduled on July 26 th at Hilton Garden Bengaluru. This pioneering initiative marks a significant milestone in
recognizing and applauding excellence across Indian Out-of-Home (OOH) media landscape.
Ordinarily, any awards in the Out of Home Media space, recognize and applaud the clever messaging on the
billboards, the creative. For ages now, the mainstay of this medium, the people, who work diligently behind the
scenes to deliver the canvas, which becomes the expression of the brand i.e. the media owners have been
taken for granted.
The OOH Pinnacle Awards shaped by IOAA, is an endeavor to shine the spotlight on these behind the scenes
people, the OOH Media Owners. It is a tribute to their extraordinary efforts, resilience and unwavering strength
against unimaginable odds, to not only sustain the medium but consistently fostering the medium’s growth.
To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln’s famous quote, The OOH Pinnacle Awards, are for the OOH media owners, by
the OOH media owners and of the OOH media owners.

objective of OOH Pinnacle Awards under the aegis IOAA, is to inject a stimulus to inspire ‘pursuit of excellence’

the regions, i.e. North, West, South & East. The work could span expansion & growth, innovation on the existing
media format or introduction of new innovative formats. Contribution to raising the general aesthetic and design
standards in OOH
THE OOH SUPERPOWER HOUSE- NATIONAL
This genre recognizes and applauds the extraordinary effort and outstanding work of the media owner
across the country. i.e. The work could span expansion & growth, innovation on the existing media format
or introduction of new innovative formats. Contribution to raising the general aesthetic and design
standards in OOH.
OOH DESIGN PINNACLE
This category has been created with the intent of creating benchmark of Excellence in Design & Construction.
It will recognize and applaud different/unique about the project designs & process, or construction techniques in
a media asset. What makes the media asset an exceptional design & construction proposition.
BEYOND THE GLASS CEILING AWARD
In the Out of Home industry the gender proportion is highly skewed to towards male dominance, only a handful
women have been able to make a mark especially as media owners. This award is to recognize, those women
who have smashed the glass ceiling themselves or who have opened a crack so wide that other women can
proudly ascend above it.

There are several huge individuals, who have dedicated their professional life to the betterment of this medium.
