Pepper Media Acquires Filmrare to Boost Immersive Tech Capabilities
It is in this regard that a digital media company, Pepper Media, has acquired an immersive tech studio known as Filmrare, who have built a reputation for using leading-edge technology to create engaging 3D immersive experiences. The acquisition will be carried out in order to enhance the service offerings of Pepper Media in content by incorporating the tools and innovative expertise gained from Filmrare.
Bengaluru-based Filmrare has expertise in advanced technologies such as Unreal Engine, Unity Engine, Pixel Streaming, and Digital Motion Capture. These tools will now be part of Pepper Media’s arsenal for creating more immersive and interactive content.
Filmrare has executed projects for clients such as Unilever, Sony Entertainment Talent Ventures India, Shemaroo etc. thereby proving its mettle when comes to immersive tech.
Some of the notable projects it has handled include building the first cinema theater in Decentraland, hosting Bollywood movies in the Metaverse, and creating a SaaS platform for running metaverse campaigns for brands.
The Filmrare team has also finalized challenging projects for Unilever by applying immersive tech techniques for creating engaging and interactive digital campaigns. These projects included advanced motion capture and real-time rendering to provide top-of-the-line, engaging, and immersive content that speaks to the wide audience of Unilever. This approach boosted the level not only of brand storytelling but also of digital advertising within the consumer goods sector.
