Raipur becomes one of the 10th city to teach AI & Robotics
A government school in Raipur is preparing to start offering classes in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning to students as of the start of the new academic year after realizing the significance of technological changes occurring around the world.
The decision was made in light of the importance of robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning for future career prospects.
According to a press release, Pt. RD Tiwari Government English School, which was transformed under the Swami Atmanand Excellent School Scheme, is now the tenth government school in India to have a robotics lab as part of Project “Jigyasa.”
500 students from various classes will learn about the creation of models and electronic devices in this lab.
Apart from Chhattisgarh’s capital, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat are also included under project ‘Jigyasa’.
Students from the fourth to tenth grades will learn how to build electronic devices, robots, technical models, and other items in this laboratory. Students in the fourth and fifth grades will be taught about models (without the use of electronic devices), while students in grades six through ten will be trained to create electronic models. Furthermore, in the robotics lab, students will be taught programming using computers.
Students’ creative abilities will be enhanced through the development of models, programs, and robots.
