Swiggy Launches Eatlists: Revolutionizing Meal Discovery and Sharing
Swiggy has announced the introduction of “Eatlists,” a first-for-the-world tool in meal delivery that will revolutionize how customers find and share culinary recommendations. Swiggy’s Eatlists allow foodies to compile and share their favorite recipes right within the Swiggy app, just like they can with music playlists.
Swiggy’s in-app insights show that 58% of consumers require assistance making meal decisions. Furthermore, a disjointed and laborious procedure is produced by the 68% of users who rely on recommendations from friends and colleagues and navigate several sites for evaluations and orders. Swiggy wants to provide customers with unmatched convenience and choice by streamlining the process of finding, saving, and sharing food recommendations within its app in response to these frequent problems.
Main advantages of meal plans:
Every favorite at one location: To make browsing easier, users can make themed lists of their favorite foods.
Smooth sharing: Give other foodies access to carefully crafted Eatlists so they can try new foods and eateries!
Instant access: Get lists made by other people or by users, guaranteeing a never-ending supply of meal suggestions.
“Food was the original form of community building before social media and other digital channels,” stated Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Food Marketplace Swiggy. Mealtimes brought people together. With Eatlists, you can have the best of both worlds: hundreds of Eatlists curated by other food enthusiasts and professionals in your city and beyond, and the opportunity to develop and share your food identity with the world while discovering new favorite dishes.
By tapping the bookmark symbol next to their favorite foods and storing them under separate Eatlists, users can begin constructing Eatlists. Anything from “Weekend Treats” to “Let’s get this party started” to “The answer is always Biryani” can be the title of their list. After the list has been carefully selected, users can utilize social media apps like Instagram and WhatsApp to directly share it with friends and family. In order to make meal choices more enjoyable and social, they can also peruse other people’s Eatlists, such as “Top Street Foods in Delhi” or “Late-night Cravings in Mumbai.”
In addition, Swiggy users’ profile pages and food home pages will have the Eatlists functionality available, ready to be made, shared, and enjoyed.
