Partha Basu Appointed Managing Director of Aliaxis Group India

Aliaxis Group, a pipes and fittings leader, has appointed Partha Basu as its new Managing Director. The appointment was made by Aliaxis’ headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Basu, who had held the position of acting divisional CEO for India until this appointment, will head the company’s operations from its Bengaluru headquarters while guiding 5,000 employees across the business. Through his long experience in leading, finance, supply chain, and business transformation, Basu is well-positioned to drive the company into one of the fastest-growing markets for infrastructure and construction solutions.

Basu has over 30 years of leadership experience in AkzoNobel, Coca-Cola, and KPMG. Under his leadership, Basu has proven to be a business transformation expert due to his success in leading programs at companies like Whirlpool and SpiceJet. Basu is professionally qualified by being a CMA, DBF, and executive certificate in general management from IIM Calcutta.

Outside of his corporate work, Basu is also an author and a thought leader on matters of career development. His book, Outskill, published in 2022 by HarperCollins, shares insights on contemporary challenges of navigating corporate life post-pandemic. He is considered a much-in-demand speaker and mentor in others on leadership, business strategy, business transformation, and professional growth.
