“Ab Jaaun Kahan Kahan.?” — Soulful Qawwali from DUA QUBOOL Released

The emotionally intense and powerful qawwali “Ab Jaaun Kahan Kahan.?” — the pick-of-the-day number of the film DUA QUBOOL — was finally released today, 15 May 2025, on YouTube. Called a “soulful filmi qawwali,” the song explores to the core questions of spiritual craving, existential desperation, and perpetual quest for the lost love.

Rendered by noted qawwal Rais Anis Sabri, the piece captures the lyrical mastery of Manohar ‘Mohabbat’ Iyer and Nitesh Ramchandra’s haunting musical orchestration.

With seasoned actress Farida Jalal and new comer Akshay Poptani, the qawwali picturises graphically and lyrically the pain of god’s abandonment and human despair through haunting lines which inquire:
“Leaving your home, where am I headed now? The end of my path is close, what’s next?”

This drop is a significant milestone for Manohar ‘Mohabbat’ Iyer, who calls DUA QUBOOL his “dream project.” The track is out now for streaming on YouTube and represents his inaugural major content drop under his artistic umbrella, aaRDee Moving Images.
