AdAsia 2025 Macau: India Gears Up for a Global Spotlight
Goafest is the premier festival for advertisers, marketers, and media professionals in India, held annually in the vibrant setting of Goa. Celebrated over three days, this iconic event is a grand celebration of creativity and innovation, spotlighting the finest work in advertising and media from across India and South Asia. Hosted by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) in collaboration with The Advertising Club, Goafest features inspiring keynote sessions, insightful panel discussions, prestigious award ceremonies, and unmatched networking opportunities. In 2025, the festival will unfold at the luxurious Taj Cidade de Goa, offering a perfect blend of business, creativity, and coastal charm. Goafest 2025 – Day 2 introduced a foretaste of what lies in store later in the year at one of the world’s most legendary industry events AdAsia 2025. The focus was on an eagerly awaited keynote session by the name of “MakeMyTrip Presents AdAsia Macau Road Show”, presented by no less a person than Srinivasan K Swamy, Chairman of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA). With his characteristic eloquence and profound industry perception, Srinivasan Swamy led the audience on a tour of AdAsia’s legacy and potential. As he declared, AdAsia 2025 will be held on August 27 in the glittering city of Macau. This is the 39th edition of AdAsia since it started in 1958, and significantly, its 13th edition in Asia a reflection of the increasing role of the region in the global advertising ecosystem. Swamy underlined the event’s reputation for having the best content and speakers of international stature, thus becoming a must-visit for every advertising and marketing professional who wishes to remain competitive in the fast-changing environment. This year’s event will be no exception, with more than 30 international speakers, including well-known Indian leaders, all ready to share the platform. What adds to the excitement of AdAsia 2025 is its host Macau, a city famous for its rich heritage, lively spirit, and memories to last a lifetime. From its breathtaking skyline to its energetic confluence of East meets West, Macau provides the ideal setting for inspiration, knowledge, and connection. Swamy underscored that the Indian advertising community will be in focus at the event, and sending more than 100 Indian delegates is the aim. To help delegates feel at home, provision for proper Indian food and genuine hospitality has already been made. And anyone can join in everyone is welcomed to be included in the Indian delegation and make a strong presence on the international stage. As Swamy put it, AdAsia isn’t a conference it’s an experience. And with the energy of Goafest behind it, AdAsia 2025 is destined to be a historic moment where ideas colliding lead to impact, and where Asia sets the tone for advertising’s future.
