Enormous Dominates Abby Awards 2025 on Day Two of Goafest
Day two of Goafest 2025 saw indie advertising powerhouse Enormous emerge as the biggest winner of the evening, making waves by clinching both the Digital Specialist Agency of the Year and Mobile Specialist Agency of the Year titles at the prestigious Abby Awards.
In the Digital Specialist category, Enormous amassed a massive 64 points with an impressive haul of one gold, five silver, six bronze medals, and one merit mention. This placed them well ahead of the competition—Leo India came in second with 26 points (two silver, three bronze, and one merit mention), while ^a t o m network followed closely in third place with 22 points (one silver, three bronze, and two merit mentions).
Enormous doubled down in the Mobile Specialist category, earning 12 points through a gold, silver, bronze, and merit mention. Despite McCann Worldgroup India and VML each securing a gold medal, they ended up tied at eight points apiece, trailing Enormous. BBH Communications India rounded out the top three with six points, earned from a silver medal.
Shared Glory in Technology and Direct Specialist Categories
The Technology Specialist Agency of the Year title witnessed a tie at the top, with Leo India and Mindshare sharing honours at 10 points each. Leo secured its spot with one silver and two merit mentions, while Mindshare scored with a silver and a bronze. Six agencies—^atom network, Cheil India, Enormous, Good Morning Films, Havas Life Mumbai, and Madison Media—shared second place with eight points each. A four-way tie for third occurred between BBH, Hyphen Brands, Tagglabs Experiential, and Tribes Communication with six points apiece.
In the Direct Specialist category, Leo India emerged victorious with 40 points, winning three silver, five bronze, and one merit mention. Famous Innovations followed in second with 30 points, mainly from five silver medals. Interestingly, FCB India, though finishing third with 26 points, made headlines by winning the night’s only Grand Prix for their compelling campaign “Lucky Yatra” for Central Railways, which also earned them a gold and a silver in this category.
Big Wins in Design, PR, and Broadcasting
The Design Specialist Agency of the Year award went to Y&H, who bagged 52 points with three silver, eight bronze, and one merit mention. Famous Innovations continued its strong showing with 44 points from four silver and five bronze medals, while Open Strategy and Design secured third place with 30 points.
In the Public Relations Specialist category, FCB India took the top spot with a dominant 66 points, scoring four gold, three silver, three bronze medals, and two merit mentions. Leo India came in second with 38 points, while Tribes Communication secured third with 26 points.
In the broadcaster segment, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) retained its title as Broadcaster of the Year with 28 points, thanks to two golds, one silver, one bronze, and a merit mention. Star India and Viacom18 Media followed in second and third place with 18 and 16 points respectivel
