Galalite Cinema Screens proudly presents the 8th edition of Big Cine Expo, to be held on August 19–20, 2025, at the Chennai Trade Centre. As the only convention and trade show dedicated exclusively to the cinema exhibition industry in Asia, the event has become a key destination for professionals who shape the moviegoing experience.
Big Cine Expo is the only dedicated convention and trade show for the cinema exhibition industry in Asia. Held annually, it brings together professionals from across the cinema value chain, including theatre owners, multiplex chains, single-screen operators, projection and audio specialists, technology providers, and design consultants. The two-day event is built to foster conversations around the business and future of cinema, with live product showcases, panel discussions, and networking sessions. Whether it’s about upgrading theatres, understanding global trends, or discovering the latest in cinema tech, Big Cine Expo provides a focused platform where industry meets insight.
In a rare and exciting move as a part of the studio presentation, audiences will get an exclusive first look at Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming 3D movie through a special, never-before-seen preview. The session will also feature a major announcement from RGV himself, making it a must-attend moment for cinema lovers.
At this year’s edition, Galalite Cinema Screens will showcase its latest Laser Projection Screens, Mirage XDL 1.9 and Mirage XDL 2.3. These RGB laser projection screens deliver high-brightness laser projection and sharp visuals with centre-to-edge uniformity and rich colour accuracy—ideal for today’s large-format cinemas. Alongside this, Galalite will also be presenting FoldX, a durable and foldable silver screen that’s easy to transport and set up, making it a practical choice without compromising on picture quality
To give cinema professionals a closer look at the technology, Galalite will have a dedicated demo room at the venue. After showcasing the difference between Lensray and Non-Lensray screens last year, this year’s focus will be on the launch and live demonstration of their new RGB Laser projection screens.
Attendees will also be able to interact with the Galalite Cinema Screen’s team, explore its screen innovations, and view live product demonstrations at Booth No. 105.
