Laqshya Media Group successfully concluded one of the most impactful fan engagement activations ever witnessed at the DY Patil Stadium during the Women’s Premier League 2026, marking the first time the Entertainment & Fan Engagement mandate was entrusted to the Group.
The response was nothing short of phenomenal. With packed stands and electric energy throughout the matches, Laqshya Media Group ensured that fans remained immersed inside the stadium during mid-innings, an objective that was achieved with seamless precision, high-octane performances, and flawless on-ground execution.
The highlight moments included Yo Yo Honey Singh electrifying the stadium as he walked in from the dugout alongside Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana, moving straight into the ground on both sides and turning the crowd into a live concert. Jacqueline Fernandez mesmerised fans with her energetic moves, while a powerhouse lineup featuring Benny Dayal, Euphoria, Daler Mehndi, Sanju Rathod, Raja Kumari, and Varun Dhawan, who made a special appearance to promote Border 2, kept the stadium buzzing throughout.
Every activation was meticulously synchronised between Team BCCI on-ground operations and Team Laqshya on-ground execution, ensuring smooth transitions, safety, and uninterrupted cricketing focus. The result was one of the most successful mid-innings fan engagement experiences in WPL history.
Speaking on the milestone, Satyabrata Das, Project Head and Chief Alliance Officer, Laqshya Media Group, said, “Cricket will always remain the main hero, and that belief drives everything we do. Our role is to complement the game with thoughtfully curated entertainment that enhances the live experience without overpowering it. WPL 2026 has shown that when cricket and entertainment are seamlessly aligned, fans choose to stay, engage, and celebrate together. This is a new, evolved way of building stadium culture in India, where the focus remains on the sport, but the experience becomes unforgettable.”
WPL 2026 has recorded one of its strongest stadium turnouts to date, reaffirming the growing appetite for live women’s cricket. Laqshya Media Group now moves on to Vadodara for the next leg of the tournament. While details remain under wraps, audiences can expect several exciting innovations leading up to the WPL 2026 finale on the 5th.
With this milestone, Laqshya Media Group reinforces its position as a pioneer in integrated sports entertainment, where precision planning, creative vision, and deep alliance with stakeholders come together to redefine fan engagement in Indian cricket.
