Pop sensation Nikhita Gandhi talks about how AR Rahman, her mentor, influenced her career from the very depth of her being. She talks about what it is like working with him, things she learned from the music maestro himself, and his guidance and teaching over time that helped her to evolve as an artist.
Nikhita says, “Rahman Sir is one of the biggest influences in my life when it comes to music. He is like the guide and mentor for me in the industry. I have learnt a lot more about the profession of singing, of recording, of being an artiste over all because of him.”
She continued to reveal how once AR Rahman complimented her for her voice, and talking about it, she said, ” I think it was one of the coolest moments of my life for sure.
She had started her journey with AR Rahman, for sure, and collaborated for a few projects. She was also part of her German Orchestra and briefly associated with his institute.
Nikhita has a couple of projects yet to be announced on the work front, for which fans are pretty eager.
