Artificial intelligence does magic for people both professionally and personally. Imagine an AI feature that also acts as an exorcist; now, isn’t that really funny? Well, this advert shared by OPPO Punjab on Instagram shows a new AI feature of the smartphone that can even drive away ghosts.
The advertisement talks about introducing a new series, the OPPO Reno12 Series, and bringing AI to life. It starts with the Punjabi influencer Gobinda Sardaar, who is getting into the elevator at a mall. However, his friend gets scared because she has heard that inside that lift reside two ghosts who were killed in that very lift.
He reassures her that there is no such thing, and with much pleading they get into the lift. While he was taking a selfie, Sardaar realizes, Ah, sahi hai ghost wala story. Their reflections are visible in the picture. Ab bol raha tha main inhe bhagaa sakta hoon, he says, and then uses the OPPO AI to remove those scary faces from their selfie!
Obviously, his friend was flummoxed with the sight and inquired what Sardaar had done. He explained that the new OPPO Reno12 Series is fitted with an AI Eraser 2.0 that aids in deleting unwanted figures or faces from a picture. She was amazed at all of this and clicked a selfie with him and another friend.
Further on in the video, it was demonstrated that with the AI Best Face feature of the smartphone, one would be assisted in taking better images in case a person has closed eyes or other flaws.
He concluded the video by saying that Sardaar announced that this new OPPO Reno12 Series comes with extra offers on winning cashback. He asked his viewers to visit their nearby mobile store in Punjab and purchase the smartphone.
The Oppo Reno 12 will be available in India starting July 18, 2024. It is launched at an introductory price of Rs 32,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It is also fitted with AI, which, through features like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Clear Face, AI Best Face, and AI Toolbox, makes image editing smooth and increases a person’s overall productivity in everyday life. To exhibit these all, a fresh ad campaign has been released, featuring Bollywood actor and brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor.
