In a historic moment for Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly at Nava Raipur on November 1, 2025. The event, marking the Silver Jubilee of the state’s formation, symbolized the union of Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage with its vision for a progressive and self-reliant future. Celebrating 25 Years of Chhattisgarh’s Progress

He dedicated the inauguration to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whose foresight and compassion led to the creation of Chhattisgarh in 2000, calling it a tribute to his visionary leadership.

He affirmed that India is moving toward the eradication of Naxalism and Maoist terrorism, with Chhattisgarh contributing significantly to national progress.
