The Pavillion and Nexus Westend Pune Malls Celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with Eco-Friendly Visarjan

As Pune prepares to welcome Ganpati Bappa, The Pavillion Mall and Nexus Westend Mall are coming together to celebrate the festival with initiatives that combine tradition, devotion, and care for the environment.

Both malls are carrying out a special eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan initiative from 29th August to 5th September, 2025, engaging with residential societies and gated communities across the city. The Visarjan Crew, accompanied by lively dhol-tasha teams, will bring festive energy to the visarjan process while ensuring that idol immersion is conducted responsibly in mobile visarjan tanks. All idols collected will later be immersed in government-designated eco-friendly visarjan pods, preserving the sanctity of the ritual while protecting nature.

Adding to the celebrations, the initiative also includes anchor-led games, contests, and the distribution of gift vouchers and festive giveaways, creating moments of joy and togetherness for residents.
