The Sleep Company Raises ₹480 Cr to Fuel Next Growth Phase

India’s leading comfort-tech brand, The Sleep Company, has raised Rs. 480 crores in a Series D funding round led by ChrysCapital and 360 ONE Asset, two of India’s largest and most established private equity firms. The funding will accelerate the company’s plans to scale manufacturing, deepen offline presence, unlock new product categories, and invest in innovation and talent as it prepares for its next phase of growth. In just a few years, The Sleep Company has crossed a Rs. 700 crore annual revenue run rate (ARR), recorded 60% year-on-year growth in FY25, and recently celebrated the opening of its 150th exclusive brand outlet. The company has also doubled monthly revenue since its last raise and grown its team from 650 to over 1,500 employees, reflecting strong consumer demand and operational scale.

The brand’s strategic edge lies in what it builds and how it delivers it with SmartGRID® technology at its core and a robust omnichannel presence that prioritises experience over noise. The Sleep Company backs its promise with substance—patented science, immersive retail experiences, and a consistent voice of credibility with Anil Kapoor at the forefront. Campaigns like RIP Memory Foam and the SmartGRID vs Memory Foam Challenge helped reposition a functional product into a premium lifestyle choice. Building on that momentum, their recent digital film with Anil Kapoor showcased the bold personality of SmartGRID, while their IPL 2025 partnership with Mumbai Indians took the brand mainstream, driving visibility, credibility, and cultural relevance at scale.

With over Rs.100 crore from this round allocated for brand-building, the company is preparing to amplify high-impact campaigns, expand into new markets, and deepen consumer trust through immersive in-store experiences— that connect online discovery with offline experience. The company’s unique ROPO (Research Online, Purchase Offline) strategy continues to drive conversion and loyalty, with offline retail contributing to 70% of total revenue. This seamless blend of digital discovery and physical experience has proven instrumental in driving both brand trust and business growth.
