The Story Behind “Woman Who Empowers”
“Woman Who Empowers” didn’t start as a business idea it started as a personal breakdown that slowly turned into a breakthrough. Lavya Sundrani the founder went through a phase many women quietly struggle with: losing herself in motherhood, feeling emotionally drained, and wondering where the old version of her disappeared. Instead of brushing those feelings aside, she paused and paid attention. She realised women don’t need to be “fixed.” They just need someone who understands what that silence, that guilt, that exhaustion feels like. That realisation became the seed of her brand.
When she stepped into this space, she noticed something missing. So many women were living their lives on autopilot, doing everything for everyone, but almost nothing for themselves. And the kind of support available either felt too clinical or too disconnected from the cultural reality women live in. She wanted to build something different something warm, relatable, and grounded.
Her early challenges weren’t about money or strategy. The toughest part was learning to speak her truth without shrinking herself. She had always been the one who avoided conflict, who pleased people, who stayed small. Moving past that mindset took time, consistency, and a lot of courage.
Today, the essence of “Woman Who Empowers” is simple: real stories, real tools, and real conversations. Everything she shares comes from her own healing, not from a textbook. Her community mostly includes women especially mothers who feel lost or emotionally exhausted. Their messages, breakthroughs, and small wins shape the direction of her work more than any plan ever could.
Over time, her books, challenges, and workshops have grown beautifully. She now dreams of creating retreats, bigger challenges, and an international community where women truly feel seen.
Her advice to other women? Don’t wait for clarity. Just begin. Confidence comes later — action comes first.
