Following the phenomenal response to “Chikiri Chikiri” and “Rai Rai Raa Raa,” Hellallallo becomes the latest vibrant addition to Peddi’s music album. Featuring Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shruti Haasan, the song brings together the iconic legacies of Chiranjeevi, Sridevi, and Kamal Haasan. Peddi will premiere on June 3 before its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
Peddi, one of the biggest pan-India films of the year, has been generating tremendous excitement worldwide. Starring Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, every update from the film has amplified audience anticipation. Recently, its action-packed trailer and promotional campaign took the internet by storm. The trailer showcased Ram Charan’s remarkable transformation into three distinct athlete avatars: a cricketer, a runner, and a wrestler, highlighting the immense dedication and hard work he invested in the role.
Ahead of the film’s release, Ram spoke about the film and his role, revealing that Peddi has been a deeply enriching journey that shaped him both as an actor and as a person. He also shared that the character represents an unheard section of society and described it as the most challenging role of his career.
Speaking about the role, Charan said, “I am very fortunate to be playing the character. We are representing a section of people who are unheard, who need the voice and need the recognition. And to play a character like that, which is very necessary in a country like India. I feel very proud and fortunate to come across a role like this.”
For Ram Charan, Peddi proved to be a transformative experience. Calling it “the most difficult character I played,” he shared that immersing himself in the role was both challenging and fascinating. He revealed that the film pushed him to grow significantly as a performer, helping him sharpen his craft and feel that he had “upped” his game. He also said the journey was satisfying overall, not just as an actor but also as a person.
The grand musical celebration of Peddi, held on May 23 in Bhopal, emerged as one of the biggest movie concerts in recent times, bringing the film’s entire cast and crew together on a single stage. The spectacular event was attended by Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ravi Kishan, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, director Buchi Babu Sana, and music legend A. R. Rahman, making it one of the film’s most memorable promotional events to date.
In Peddi, Ram Charan portrays a crossover athlete, a character whose journey mirrors the inspiring paths of several real-life sporting greats who experimented with different sports before discovering their true calling. Much like MS Dhoni, who played football before rising to become one of cricket’s most celebrated captains, and Sachin Tendulkar, who initially had an interest in tennis before earning the title of the “God of Cricket,” Peddi explores a fascinating story of transformation, ambition, and sporting excellence.
Meanwhile, the film’s music continues to create waves across platforms. Composed by A. R. Rahman, the soundtrack has struck a chord with audiences nationwide, with the song Chikiri Chikiri crossing 200 million views on YouTube, while Rai Rai Raa Raa has surpassed 74 million views. The phenomenal response to the songs has further amplified anticipation for Peddi, strengthening its position as one of the most awaited cinematic spectacles in India.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan in the lead role alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu, bringing together a strong ensemble that elevates the film’s scale and impact. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment, with co-producer Ishan Saksena.
IVY Entertainment commenced in 2020 and has cemented its position as one of the most popular production houses and acquirers of film rights in India. The company is steadily building one of India’s most extensive filmographies of premium IP and film rights while consistently empowering creative production houses to deliver exceptional movies that resonate with audiences worldwide.
The film also boasts a powerful technical team, including music by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, production design by Avinash Kolla, editing by Navin Nooli, and executive production by V. Y. Praveen Kumar, further strengthening its cinematic ambition and anticipation.
Peddi will be released in North India by Jio Studios following the grand success of Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge, and Raja Shivaji. The film will have its premiere across the world on June 3, 2026, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
