1. What was the defining moment, a conversation, a challenge, or a market gap that convinced you Green Drive Mobility needed to exist?
The defining moment came when I realised that businesses genuinely wanted to embrace electric mobility, but the ecosystem wasn’t ready to support them. They had to deal with different vendors for vehicles, charging infrastructure, maintenance, technology, and drivers. Instead of accelerating adoption, this complexity was slowing it down.
We recognised the opportunity to simplify this transition by creating an all-in-one EV platform. With the Government of India planning to support nearly 72,000 public EV charging stations under the PM E-Drive Scheme, the industry’s shift towards integrated EV ecosystems is becoming increasingly evident.I saw an opportunity to build something much bigger than a fleet company. I wanted to create an integrated EV ecosystem that would remove these barriers and make electrification simple, reliable, and commercially viable. That vision became Green Drive Mobility, a company built not just to supply electric vehicles, but to enable India’s transition to sustainable transportation.
2. What did you have to sacrifice while building the company, and what were you never willing to compromise on?.
Building this company has been a patience journey. There’s no doubt about the challenges faced during scaling up. Our focus on investing continuously into technology & infrastructures as well as making necessary personal sacrifices for the sake of building a great business was what made us successful. I’m also proud of the fact that we never compromised on providing reliable services while maintaining high standards of sustainability values. We strongly believe that only through continued operation excellence can we establish meaningful relationships with partners around the world.
3. What is the biggest misconception about EV logistics and fleet electrification that you believe deserves to be challenged?
I think the biggest misconception is that fleet electrification is just about replacing a diesel vehicle with an electric one. If it were that simple, every company would have already made the switch.
In my experience, the real challenge begins after the vehicle is delivered. Questions like Where will it charge? Who will monitor the battery? What happens if it breaks down? How do you manage drivers? How do you ensure uptime? These are the questions that determine whether an EV fleet succeeds or fails.
I’ve spoken to many business leaders who genuinely want to adopt EVs, but they’re worried about operations, reliability, and support. Those concerns are valid. It’s not that they don’t believe in electric mobility; they don’t want unnecessary complexity.
That’s why I believe we need to change the conversation. We should stop talking only about electric vehicles and start talking about electric mobility.
For me, Green Drive Mobility has never been about putting more EVs on the road. It’s about giving businesses the confidence to make the transition without worrying about everything that comes with it. If we can remove that fear and complexity, adoption will happen much faster.
At the end of the day, businesses don’t want vehicles, they want dependable operations. If we can deliver that while creating a cleaner future, then we’ve done our job. That’s the future I’m working towards every day.
4. Was there a specific market gap, operational inefficiency, or industry challenge that inspired you to establish Green Drive Mobility?
Absolutely. What I saw wasn’t a lack of interest in electric mobility, it was a lack of confidence.
Businesses wanted to transition to EVs because they knew it made sense economically and environmentally.I remember speaking with customers who were excited about electrification but eventually postponed their plans because the process felt too complicated and risky. That’s when I realized the market didn’t just need more electric vehicles it needed someone to simplify the entire experience.
That realization became the foundation of Green Drive Mobility. From day one, my vision was to build a company that businesses could trust as a long-term mobility partner, not just a vehicle supplier. We wanted to bring everything together under one roof EVs, drivers, charging infrastructure, fleet technology, maintenance, and operational support so our customers could focus on growing their business while we took care of the mobility.
5. How does the company’s founding vision continue to shape its business strategy, operational decisions, and long-term goals?
Our founding vision of creating a comprehensive EV ecosystem remains central to every decision we make. Whether expanding into new cities, investing in technology, or introducing new fleet categories, our focus is on making sustainable mobility more accessible and reliable for businesses. Every operational decision is evaluated through the lens of long-term customer value and environmental impact. This approach ensures that growth is aligned with our mission of supporting India’s transition towards greener transportation.
6. In an increasingly competitive EV logistics ecosystem, what do you consider Green Drive Mobility’s biggest differentiator?
Our biggest differentiator is our ability to provide end-to-end EV mobility solutions rather than isolated services. We combine fleet operations, technology, charging infrastructure, maintenance, rentals, and logistics under one integrated platform. This allows customers to work with a single partner while benefiting from higher fleet uptime, better operational visibility, and improved efficiency. Our technology-driven approach, combined with execution capabilities across multiple mobility segments, enables us to deliver scalable solutions tailored to evolving business requirements.
7. As the business expands across cities and fleet categories, how do you ensure consistent service quality and operational excellence at scale?
Scaling a business is relatively easy. Scaling it without compromising quality is the real challenge. From the beginning, I knew that if Green Drive Mobility was going to grow across cities, every customer should receive the same experience, whether they’re operating in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, or any other city. That consistency doesn’t happen by chance; it comes from building strong systems and empowering the right people.
Technology plays a big role. We use real-time fleet tracking, IoT-enabled monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven dashboards to monitor vehicle health, uptime, and operational performance. This gives us visibility across our entire network and allows us to solve issues before they affect our customers.
But technology alone isn’t enough. Behind every successful operation is a committed team. We invest heavily in standard operating procedures, training, and accountability. As we continue to grow, my focus is not just on adding more vehicles or entering more cities. It’s about building an organization that delivers the same reliability, responsiveness, and trust everywhere we operate.
At the end of the day, customers don’t remember how many vehicles you have; they remember whether you delivered when it mattered. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
8. How would you describe your ideal customer beyond conventional business categories? What characteristics make an organisation the right fit for Green Drive Mobility’s solutions?
Our ideal customer is defined by mindset, not industry. We partner with organizations that view sustainability as a long-term business strategy and embrace innovation to improve efficiency and reduce costs. They value technology, operational excellence, and long-term partnerships over transactional relationships. Whether they operate in logistics, retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, or corporate mobility, they are committed to building smarter, cleaner, and more resilient operations. At Green Drive Mobility, we work best with customers who see us not just as a fleet provider, but as a trusted partner in accelerating their transition to sustainable, technology-driven transportation.
9. What customer feedback or operational insight has led to one of your most significant business improvements or strategic pivots?
One of the biggest lessons I have learned as a founder is that customers don’t expect perfection, they expect responsiveness and continuous improvement.
Early on, we received feedback that while businesses believed in electric mobility, they wanted a single partner who could take complete ownership of operations rather than coordinating with multiple service providers. That feedback changed how we thought about our business.
Instead of focusing only on deploying EVs, we expanded our approach to provide an integrated mobility solution that includes fleet management, charging, drivers, maintenance, and technology. We also invested heavily in real-time monitoring, standard operating procedures, and data-driven decision-making to improve reliability and customer experience.
Every operational challenge has reinforced one belief: problems are opportunities to build stronger systems. Rather than treating feedback as criticism, we treat it as a roadmap for innovation. That mindset has helped Green Drive Mobility evolve into a more resilient, customer-centric company and continues to shape how we grow and deliver value every day.
10. How do you build long-term partnerships and trust with customers, OEMs, and ecosystem partners in a rapidly evolving mobility landscape?
I believe trust is built through actions, not promises. In a fast-changing industry like electric mobility, long-term partnerships are created by consistently delivering on commitments and standing by your partners through both opportunities and challenges.
From the beginning, I’ve believed that every customer, OEM, and ecosystem partner should see Green Drive Mobility as an extension of their own team, not just another service provider. We invest time in understanding their business, operational challenges, and long-term goals so that we can create solutions that genuinely add value.
Transparency is equally important. We believe in open communication, sharing data, addressing challenges proactively, and working together to solve problems. That approach builds confidence and strengthens relationships over time.
As the EV ecosystem continues to evolve, no company can drive this transformation alone. It requires collaboration between fleet operators, OEMs, charging partners, financiers, and technology providers. Our role is to bring these stakeholders together and create a seamless mobility ecosystem where everyone benefits.
At Green Drive Mobility, we measure success not by the number of contracts we sign, but by the number of partnerships that continue to grow year after year. That’s the foundation on which we are building our company.
11. How do you see evolving government policies, advances in EV technology, and changing sustainability priorities shaping the future of electric mobility over the next five years?
The next five years will be transformative for electric mobility in India. Continued policy support, improvements in battery technology, expanding charging infrastructure, and growing sustainability commitments from businesses will accelerate EV adoption across commercial fleets. We also expect greater use of connected technologies, data analytics, and intelligent fleet management to improve efficiency. Companies that invest early in integrated mobility solutions and innovation will be best positioned to benefit from this evolving ecosystem.
12. Beyond revenue and fleet size, what metric best reflects the long-term success and impact of Green Drive Mobility?
When looking beyond just financial metrics, one that stands out is the positive environmental and operational impact we make for customers. This can include things from numbers of businesses having transitioned to electric mobility and efficiencies seen on fleets and how much uptime there is for vehicles, what sort of customer retention we see and reductions in carbon emissions made possible via our solutions.
13. As the company continues to grow, how do you ensure that innovation, customer focus, and operational discipline remain at the core of the organisation?
Your organization’s values should never be watered down by growth. Investing in technology and giving teams the power to improve existing processes are ways we support constant innovation. Yet, customer feedback is still very important for making decisions about products and operations. Our operational discipline will stay strong as we grow thanks to strong control, standardised processes, and execution that is driven by data. We can keep coming up with new ideas while still providing reliable, high-quality services thanks to this balanced approach.
14. How has your leadership style evolved as Green Drive Mobility has scaled, and what qualities do you believe are most important for leading a high-growth mobility company today?
From the beginning, my leadership approach has been rooted in building with purpose rather than chasing rapid expansion. As Green Drive Mobility has grown, my role has evolved from managing daily operations to empowering teams, strengthening systems, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. In a high-growth mobility business, success depends on staying agile, making data-driven decisions, and keeping customers at the centre of every strategy. I believe the most important leadership qualities today are resilience, collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to build long-term partnerships. Sustainable growth is achieved when people, technology and execution move with a shared vision.
15. Looking back, what has been the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from a professional setback, and how has it influenced the way you lead the business today?
One of the biggest lessons has been that setbacks often reveal opportunities to build stronger systems rather than simply solve immediate problems. In a fast-growing business, challenges are inevitable, but they encourage better planning, greater resilience, and smarter decision-making. Today, I approach every challenge with a long-term perspective, focusing on learning, continuous improvement, and building a culture that embraces change while remaining committed to our mission of sustainable mobility.
