ELE Animations has released the complete soundtrack for its upcoming
animated feature Mahaprabhu Jagannath, the first film in the studio’s “Sanatan Universe” series.
The album, featuring devotional songs in Hindi, Odia and Telugu, debuted on all major streaming
platforms today. Blending traditional bhajans, Sanskrit chants and jubilant musical anthems, the
music sets the spiritual tone for the film’s nationwide release on July 10.
Rooted deeply in the divine world of Prabhu Jagannath, the album has been designed as the
emotional soul of the film, carrying forward its themes of faith, surrender, compassion, and
unconditional devotion through music that feels both timeless and emotionally immersive.
The soundtrack features a diverse range of devotional and emotionally driven compositions
including Jay Jagannath Title Song, Mahaprabhu Jagannath Title Song, Hey Prabhu Jagannath, Ahe
Nila Saila, Mahavishnu Mantra, Chaturbhuj Jagannath, Garuda Gayatri, Vamana Stuti, and Brahma
Gayatri. While some tracks celebrate the grandeur and spiritual energy associated with Prabhu
Jagannath, others bring alive moments of emotional intimacy, prayer, peace, and philosophical
reflection from the film’s narrative.
Voices like Somesh Satpathy, Atharva Bakshi, Aviral Kumar, and Abhay Jodhpurkar come together to
shape the album’s devotional and emotional identity, while the music itself moves seamlessly
between celebratory bhakti, traditional spiritual compositions, emotionally layered melodies, and
cinematic orchestration.
One of the standout tracks from the album, Hey Prabhu Jagannath, sung by Abhay Jodhpurkar,
emerges as an emotional expression of surrender and faith, while Ahe Nila Saila brings alive the
timeless devotional poetry of Bhakta Salabega, carrying forward Odisha’s spiritual and cultural
legacy through music. The Mahaprabhu Jagannath Title Song further expands the emotional scale of
the film by exploring the idea of Mahaprabhu Jagannath as the eternal guide, protector, and divine
presence for all beings.
Speaking about the album, producer Durga Prasad Dalai shared: “The music of Mahaprabhu
Jagannath was never approached as just a film album for us. Every song was created with the
intention of making people feel emotionally connected to Mahaprabhu Jagannath and to the
innocence that exists within devotion. We wanted the soundtrack to feel celebratory, emotional,
spiritual, and deeply Indian at the same time. It is the soul of our film.”
Aviral Kumar added: “One of the most beautiful things about this soundtrack is that every
composition carries a different emotional texture while still feeling spiritually connected. Some songs
make you want to celebrate, some make you emotional, and some simply make you pause and feel
peaceful. That emotional journey became very important for us while building the music.”
Singer Abhay Jodhpurkar, who lends his voice to one of the tracks in the film, said: “There was a
certain purity while recording these songs that is difficult to explain. The music does not try too hard
to sound devotional, it naturally carries that energy. As a singer, you rarely come across songs where
emotion and spirituality flow together so honestly. Recording for Mahaprabhu Jagannath felt deeply
special.”
Mounted on a grand visual scale, Mahaprabhu Jagannath combines mythology, fantasy, devotion,
and philosophy into a cinematic experience for audiences of all ages. With the music album now
officially out, the makers hope the soundtrack becomes an emotional and spiritual companion for
listeners as they step into the divine world of the film.
The complete music album of Mahaprabhu Jagannath is now available across all major audio and
streaming platforms like YouTube, Spotify, Wynk Music App, Amazon music, Apple Music, Gaana, Jio
Saavan, and SoundCloud.
