HGH India, the country’s leading trade show for home textiles, home décor, home furniture, houseware, and gifts, successfully concluded its 19th edition in Mumbai with an enthusiastic response from across the home & lifestyle industry and trade. Held from June 30 to July 3, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, the four-day event welcomed 44,743 visitors from 752 Indian cities and 34 countries, consolidating its position as India’s most influential platform for trend-setting, innovations, sourcing, and business in the home category.
The show witnessed a significant buyer interest across home textiles, home décor, accent furniture, kitchenware, houseware, gifting, and emerging design-led categories, compared to the previous editions.

The 19th edition was defined by high-impact category & brand experiences and strong visitor engagement across its themed pavilions and interactive sessions. Each section was designed to help buyers discover products more efficiently, compare trends across categories, and interact directly with brands and makers in a more immersive setting.
Amongst many celebrities visiting, was also Dr. Kumar Vishwas who emphasised on the high potential of Pilkhuwa, to take Homeful Style in the global market.
Immersive Pavilions Drive Unprecedented Visitor Engagement
Beyond displays by 700 brands & manufactures from 30 countries, the 19th edition featured highly structured thematic pavilions that transformed static material displays into highly interactive, experiential learning zones. These curated spaces directly heightened visitor engagement and elevated the sourcing experience:
● The Smart Kitchen Pavilion: Serving as a massive traction point, this pavilion showcased how technology, design, and functionality are transforming everyday cooking experiences. High-profile industry icons—including Chef Saransh Goila, and Dr. Chef Parvinder Singh Bali anchored high-impact live cooking demonstrations and smart gadget displays. Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi & Chef Vicky Ratnani also attended the show. This directly demonstrated to corporate and volume buyers how modern kitchen tools optimize space, workflow ergonomics, and latest trends.
● Trends 2026-27: Researched and curated by HGH India’s experienced International & Indian trend forecasting team. The Trends 2026-27 under the theme PreSense decoded the colours, designs, materials and styles including their applications. Product Designers, Manufacturers, Sourcing Professionals, Architects, Interior Designers and Retailers were able to visualise how colour palettes, tactile surfaces, and cultural concepts will integrate for the next retail season.
● HomeTech, Technical Textiles for Homes: Supported by MATEXIL and the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the HomeTech Pavilion at 19th HGH India showcased the high-performance and functional home textiles. Visitors engaged with advanced material science, exploring flame-retardant drapery, antimicrobial sleep surfaces, and commercially viable circular manufacturing processes.
● Sustainability Pavilion: HGH India continued to champion the cause of a more sustainable future for the home and lifestyle industry through its Sustainability Pavilion. As sustainability becomes a key consideration for consumers and buyers alike, the pavilion offered trade buyers an opportunity to discover eco-conscious innovations. Featured products include those made from natural and renewable materials, recycled and upcycled resources, biodegradable alternatives, and sustainable manufacturing processes that combine functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. This zone provided the retail buyers with direct access to earth-friendly home products that are ready for mainstream retail shelves.
● H-Circle Product Innovation Awards: The H-Circle Awards recognised creative and product innovation across home categories, celebrating brands that stood out for design, functionality, sustainability, and commercial potential. 16 winners across 117 nominations were evaluated by an independent jury – Mr. Anchal Jain, Faculty Co-Chair, Creative & Cultural Business Programme at IIM Ahmedabad; Mr. Govind Shrikhande, Former MD, Shoppers Stop LTD.; Ms. Avril Dsouza, Managing Editor, Good Homes; Dr. Kundlata Mishra, Associate Professor, Department of Fashion Design, NIFT Mumbai; Rakhi Makwana, Founder & Design Principal, Studio Rakhi M.
