In a city where hectic work schedules and fast-paced lifestyles often leave little time for balanced meals, healthy eating has increasingly become a challenge rather than a choice. For working professionals, students living away from home, and senior citizens finding nutritious, home-style food that is both convenient and trustworthy remains a daily struggle.
Recognising this growing need, Ahmedabad-based wellness food brand Satvik Salaad has launched its first Healthy Food Experience Outlet in Prahladnagar, marking its transition from a successful cloud kitchen to its first physical customer experience outlet, offering thoughtfully prepared salads, nutritious bowls, wraps, soups, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices that combine clinical nutrition with traditional Satvik cooking principles.
The idea behind Satvik Salaad was born from the experiences of Clinical Dietitian Divya Agrawal, who spent years counselling patients living with diabetes, obesity, PCOS, thyroid disorders, and other lifestyle-related health conditions. While working closely with them, she realised that most people genuinely wanted to eat healthy. The real challenge wasn’t awareness—it was finding food that was nutritious, delicious, convenient, and easy to fit into everyday life.
The vision behind Satvik Salaad gained a new dimension through Deepak Agrawal, an International Triathlete and entrepreneur. While balancing the demands of business, Deepak has always been deeply committed to fitness and endurance. Completing the Ironman Triathlon and later the 600-kilometre Super Randonneur cycling challenge reinforced his belief that true endurance is built not only through rigorous training but also through years of clean, wholesome eating and consistent healthy habits. This experience strengthened the philosophy behind Satvik Salaad—to make nutritious food an integral part of everyday life.
The name Satvik Salaad itself carries a deeply personal story. Deepak Agrawal chose the name as a tribute to his mother, Mrs. Kiran Agrawal, whose traditional Satvik cooking has nourished the family for generations. To turn this vision into a practical solution, Divya collaborated with her mother-in-law, Mrs. Kiran Agrawal, whose decades of experience in Satvik cooking helped transform evidence-based nutrition into simple, digestible, home-style meals made with familiar Indian ingredients. What began as personalised meal plans for a handful of patients soon received an encouraging response from other clients, gradually laying the foundation for Satvik Salaad.
This café has 25 seconds face scan technology which recommends bowls on basis on what nutrients the body needs based on skin tone, mood and many factors. The brand offers a convenient subscription model that enables customers to receive freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals at their doorstep on a daily basis. Designed especially for working professionals, students living away from home, health-conscious individuals, senior citizens, and patients managing lifestyle disorders, the subscription service removes the daily burden of planning, preparing, and cooking healthy meals while ensuring consistency in nutrition.
Every meal is prepared using ingredients selected by a clinical dietitian, with vegetables and fruits being ozone washed for safer consumption. Unlike conventional salad concepts that largely focus on raw vegetables, Satvik Salaad believes digestibility is equally important. Its menu therefore includes cooked, sautéed, and blanched preparations that are easier on the digestive system while preserving nutritional value. The brand also uses plastic-free packaging, reflecting its commitment to both individual and environmental health.
Beyond serving healthy food, Satvik Salaad follows a larger social mission by sourcing quality produce through sustainable farming practices, supporting small farmers, and creating meaningful employment opportunities for women, enabling greater financial independence and community development.
Speaking about the vision behind the brand, Founder and Clinical Dietitian Divya Agrawal said:
“Satvik Salaad was born from a simple belief—that healthy food should be fresh, delicious, and accessible to everyone. Our dream is not just to serve meals but to inspire families to embrace a healthier lifestyle, one bowl at a time. This outlet is the beginning of a journey to build a healthier Ahmedabad through honest ingredients, mindful cooking, and a genuine passion for wellness.”
For the founders, this is more than the opening of a new outlet. It is the beginning of a movement to inspire healthier choices, one meal at a time. Their hope is simple: that people begin to see food not merely as something that satisfies hunger, but as something that strengthens the body, supports the family, and creates a healthier future for the next generation.
