Ed Sheeran just landed in Mumbai, India, for his upcoming concert this weekend. The singer pleasantly surprised fans with a video on Instagram Reels, showcasing his visit to a school in Mumbai. In the clip, he interacted with students, sang songs in the classroom, and had a great time.
Ed shared, “So, I just arrived in Mumbai, India. We are going to be visiting some schools today and playing some songs. I also heard that the kids have something to play for me as well.”
The video, now going viral, captures Ed inside classrooms where primary school kids played games, interacted with him, and even performed for him. Dressed in a simple white tee and shorts, Ed appeared to be enjoying himself, smiling throughout the interactions. He brought along his guitar and played “Shape of You” with the students.
This heartwarming experience was part of Ed Sheeran’s visit before his final Mumbai concert on March 16 as part of his +–=÷× Tour (Mathematics) in 2024. This will be Sheeran’s second concert in India – his last being in 2017. Starting at 3 pm, the concert will open with a performance by Prateek Kuhad and followed by special guest, Calum Scott. Sheeran will take the stage at 7.15 pm.
