Toshiaki Nomura Appointed President & CEO of Canon India

Canon India announced the appointment of Toshiaki Nomura as its new President and CEO of Canon India, effective 1st July 2024.

While Nomura has an association with Canon since 1999, before joining Canon India, he had primarily been leading the Canon’s Business Imaging Solution Division in the Canon Southeast & South Asia Region. Further, under the tutelage and approach of Nomura, the BIS Division has seen remarkable and sustainable growth.

He added, “The vibrant and dynamic market of India has huge potential. For Canon India, the company is now at a very exciting stage in its growth journey, and this is so given the opportunities harnessed by the company in new segments. I am excited and feel privileged to be leading the company through this transformation phase and working with my talented team.”. Apart from continuing to focus on the core business of imaging and printing, I am particularly excited about participating in the development of surveillance, business solutions, and industrial printing businesses.
