DeadAnt, a media and entertainment company that is at the forefront of Indian comedy today, announced the winners of the 4th edition of the DeadAnt Comedy Awards, India’s only comedy accolades. Celebrating the zenith of excellence in comedy across various categories, DACA awarded comedians and content creators who kept fans entertained in 2023. The winners were chosen based on audience votes that came in across DeadAnt’s social media pages, garnering exceptional traction. Apart from the popular choice awards, there are Critics’ Choice Awards and Peer Picks categories, which are adjudicated by special juries.
Some of the top winners at this edition include Anubhav Singh Bassi for Best Acting Performance and Abhishek Upmanyu for Best Online Comedy Special. Aaditya Kulshreshth, aka Kullu, has been picked as the Most Exciting Voice, while Tanmay Bhat has won the Best YouTube Channel award. The Critics Choice peg saw Kannan Gill shine in the Best Online Special category. Vir Das won the award for ‘Everything Everywhere’. Vir was also declared as the ‘Most Inspiring’ comedian in the Peer Picks category. While Mumbai comedy club The Habitat won the award for Best Venue.
