ZEE5 Launches ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ with Stunning 3D Projection at Mumbai’s Clock Tower

The historic clock tower of David Sassoon Library in Mumbai turned into a cynosure of all eyes on Friday evening as ZEE5 hosted a larger-than-life 3D projection of its just-launched mystery thriller, Gyaarah Gyaarah. Mumbaikars were in for a pleasant surprise as multilingual storyteller kept commuters and passersby glued to their tabs with a sneak-peek into the mystery drama. Gyaarah Gyaarah is a partnership between Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment and Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. Directed by Umesh Bisht, it has an impinging trio: Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra, and Dhairya Karwa.

The David Sassoon Library is one of the major heritages of Mumbai, known for its Victorian Gothic architecture. The event organized on August 9, the day of its show launch, took consumers on a roller-coaster ride, where the brand came to life with dazzling theatrics against the iconic backdrop of one of Mumbai’s most historic landmarks. Featuring Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra, and Dhairya Karwa in lead roles, Gyaarah Gyaarah tells the story of Yug Arya, who is a young Sepoy living in present-day, 2016. In the process, he is handed over a walkie-talkie, and all of a sudden, he gets hooked on Shaurya Anthwal, a major detective from the ’90s. The back story of this time-bound whodunit is held by Vamika Rawat—mentored by Shaurya before his mysterious disappearance and now guiding Yug. But neither Shaurya nor Yug knows that their teaming up and time travelling to crack cold cases is, in fact, starting a chain of events leading to time aberrations and a change in the direction of history. With every tick, the title ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ sheds layers of mysteries where the past and present combine to collide, raising questions from the viewers on the very essence of time.
