Sony Sports Network Acquires Rights for Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024
The Sony Sports Network today announced it has acquired the media rights to telecast the Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2024 live from September 8th, 2024, to September 17th, 2024, in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, People’s Republic of China. It will be an absolute treat for the hockey lovers as every minute of action is showcased on Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV.
The Asian Federation has announced the top six teams of the continent for Olympic Bronze medallists and defending champions India along with Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, China, and Malaysia. Sony Sports Network presents Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 to viewers across India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
All teams will see action on the opening day as all six teams are drawn in a single pool, with the starting tournament on September 8th broadcast across Sony Sports Ten 1 channels. The curtain-raiser will be between South Korea and Japan, with Malaysia meeting Pakistan and defending champions India taking on hosts China in the final fixture of the day.
Headlining this tournament, comprising a total of 20 matches, would be the game between archfoes India and Pakistan on September 14, while the final is scheduled on September 17 to see the champions take an easy win.
