Bun Maska, Chai: A Gripping Tale of Suspense and Surprises

Acclaimed ad filmmaker Anand Iyer’s latest short film ‘Bun Maska, Chai’ is all about this journey. The gripping drama stars pan-India star Ravi Kishan along with debut talent Rakshit Bhuchar.

‘Bun Maska Chai’ tells the story of two people engaged in an intriguing conversation while sipping Mumbai’s signature ‘cutting chai’ on a typical rainy day. What starts out as a simple tête-à-tête ends up taking a thrilling turn when subtle hints reveal that there is a tangy twist in the tale. One can expect the unexpected as this unique short takes you on a rollercoaster of wit and suspense. 

With a cast that boasts of National Award winner Ravi Kishan, who recently swept audiences off their feet with his stellar act in Laapataa Ladies, ‘Bun Masaka Chai’ has all the ingredients to make for a delightful watch. Helmed by the man behind the third season of Mirzapur, India’s most loved web series, the short also features a new talent—- Rakshit Bhuchar making his debut with the project.

Short films drive home the point that in storytelling, less is more! Our short has many unique elements that I can’t talk about now, but will really surprise and grip the audiences once they watch it. It was a delight sharing the screen with young gun Rakshit, and I’m looking forward to how fans react to my character in this film!”.
