ndore (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is expected to inaugurate the newly built air-conditioned Bhakt Niwas and the grand Pravachan Hall on Friday. Collector Asheesh Singh conducted a site inspection today to review preparations.
During a meeting chaired by Collector Singh, it was decided that the temple will host a three-day fair for Til Chaturthi from January 17 to 19, including bhajan programmes. The temple will feature intricate floral and light decorations, with Lord Ganesha’s idol adorned in golden ornaments.
The meeting also highlighted the heavy footfall on December 31 and January 1, as lakhs of devotees visit the temple during this time. Collector Singh directed officials to ensure smooth arrangements, including traffic control, parking, shaded pathways, drinking water, and sufficient lighting.
Emergency medical facilities will be in place, with enhanced security through CCTV surveillance and additional parking arrangements. Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma, Smart City CEO Divyank Singh, and temple priests Ashok Bhatt and Jaydev Bhatt attended the meeting.
Discussions covered the temple’s proposed master plan, ongoing development, and budgeting for future events and renovations.
The poor condition of the road leading to the temple was also addressed. Expecting around 4 lakh visitors on December 31 and January 1, Collector Singh personally inspected the road and instructed Municipal Commissioner Verma to ensure repairs are completed before the CM’s visit.
