“Winteria, India’s biggest winter festival on its debut becomes a Snowy spectator to remember.”
Winteria – India’s Biggest Winter Festival wraps up after two day-long on-ground celebrations on 11th February 2023 unfolded its snowy wonders at Noida Haat sector 32 on February 10th and 11th, 2024. With an array of attractions and performances, Winteria promised a delightful escape for families seeking winter magic and wholesome entertainment.
The festival catered to the young hearts with its enchanting Ice & Snow zone, offering a frosty retreat from the winter sun. Kids indulged in joyful rides like the bouncy castle and immersive slides, stepping into a winter world crafted just for them. The highlight was the captivating kids’ show featuring beloved superhero cosplayers such as Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, and Joker, sparking imaginations and smiles all around. Adding to the excitement, adorable mascots like Snowman and Bears greeted children for memorable photoshoots, creating cherished moments for families.
Over the two days with enthralling performances and fun activities, Winteria on inaugural edition managed to get a staggering 14,000+ spectators including 5,000 kids and 9,000 adults, marking the beginning of an annual tradition, promising even greater enchantment and joy in the years to come
Winteria’s stage came alive with stellar performances, captivating audiences of all ages. Renowned comedians Pawan Singh and Rakesh Addlakha tickled funny bones with their stand-up acts, spreading laughter and cheer. Theatre enthusiasts were treated to spellbinding plays by acclaimed groups like Bela Theatre Karwaan and Saksham Arts, presenting gripping tales like “Baap re Baap” and “Chainpur Ki Daastan”.
Adding an international flair, Russian violinist Lorena Nunez mesmerized listeners with soulful melodies, while bands like Taqdeer Collective filled the air with rhythmic beats, igniting impromptu dance sessions. The entertainment crescendoed with a sidesplitting mimicry show by Ventriloquist- Anil Singh, leaving the audience in stitches.
Pawan Singh, Standup comedian reflecting on his Winteria experience by stating “It was an absolute pleasure performing for such a lovely crowd. I was so happy to see the kids and their parents laughing together. The audience at the fest was really comforting and lively and Winteria on their debut did a great job bringing the families together.
Taqdeer Collective Band cited “We relished the opportunity entrusted upon us from Winteria to connect with the energetic crowd and spread smiles through our music. We thoroughly enjoyed jamming with the crowd whilst spreading smiles and seeing them vibe with us. The fest crowd was a livewire and we were glad to see kids along with their family tapping their feet and humming the tracks with us”
