This Women’s Day, my heart swells with immense pride as I witness the transformative journey of India. Women are shattering glass ceilings and carving their names across every field, and this fills me with hope and inspiration. While challenges still linger, initiatives like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao ignite a spark of optimism for a future where equality truly flourishes.
While my journey has been fortunate compared to many, attributing it solely to manifestation would be a disservice to the relentless pursuit and unceasing dedication that paved the way. Ever since childhood, I yearned for the spotlight, captivated by the powerful persona of Amanda Presley in “Devil Wears Prada.” This ignited a burning desire within me, a fire that fueled my every step.
Embracing the Mosaic:
My career path reflects the courageous spirit of women who embrace diversity. From the analytical world of engineering to the vibrant realm of fashion, I explored various avenues, honing my skills through internships in content writing and journalism. This journey wasn’t always smooth, but it instilled in me the adaptability and resilience needed to navigate the ever-changing landscape.
Launching “Mauve”:
“Mauve” is a testament to the unwavering spirit of women entrepreneurs in India. This dream, nurtured for years with meticulous research and unyielding determination, finally came to life on January 16th. The overwhelming success of the first edition, with 45 clients, is a validation of the unwavering strength and immense potential of women-led initiatives.
Moving Forward:
Today, on Women’s Day, while we celebrate our triumphs, let us also acknowledge the ongoing struggles women face, such as the gender pay gap and ingrained biases. We must work towards creating a future where equal opportunities and unwavering support empower generations of women to chase their dreams and thrive in all aspects of life.
Empowerment Message:
By lifting each other up and holding onto our aspirations, we can unlock a future brimming with equality and empowerment for all women. This is the true essence of what we celebrate on Women’s Day – a collective spirit that paves the way for a more just and equitable world.
