Adah Sharma’s unique press conference moment: Reciting mantras at “Bastar”: The Naxal Story” trailer launch wins hearts!

Ever since the trailer of ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ has been dropped huge excitement has been witnessed among the masses. The trailer has grabbed the eyeballs of the audience and has met with positive reception from every corner. The audiences were eagerly waiting to look forward to the film from the powerful trio of Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Sudipto Sen, and Adah Sharma.

As the release date draws closer, the anticipation for the film is building. Recently it was revealed that Adah Sharma trained hard to prepare for her character IPS Neerja Madhavan in the film and has also worshipped Danteshwari Maa to get the right tone for her character.

It was revealed a few days back that Adah Sharma, learnt the rituals and puja of Danteshwari Maa by staying in Bastar, and recently at the trailer launch event of the film in Raipur, Adah Sharma surprised every as he recited the shlokas and mantras offered to the Danteshwari Maa. This happened for the first time in Indian Cinema when an actress chose to perform the shloka and mantra session at the film’s trailer launch event and Adah and team Bastar: The Naxal Story won hearts for their approach.

Adah Sharma paid attention to every detail and nuance of her character in Bastar and significant credit for this goes to Vipul Amritlal Shah. Being a responsible filmmaker and producer, Vipul does not compromise on any aspect and makes the cast of his films undergo rigorous preparation for the characters.

The trailer of the film directed by Sudipto Sen and starring Adah Sharma has all the elements to cater to the audiences in the large chunk. Following the roaring success of ‘The Kerala Story’ team returns with another bold and impactful subject and the trailer stays true to the expectations.

The trailer has spine-chilling shots of Naxalites killing CRPF Jawans and also takes us to the chapter of JNU students celebrating the death of Jawans. From the human chopping sequences as he sang National Anthem to the kids being burnt the political figures shot dead and the killing of innocent people hanged to death, this trailer packs a solid punch.

The highlight of the trailer was the character of IPS Neerja Madhvan, portrayed by talented actress Adah Sharma. The perfection and sincerity Adah brought to the character look evident in her portrayal and no doubt that this is going to be another solid performance from the actress.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Sunshine Pictures and co-produced by Aashin A. Shah, ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ is directed by Sudipto Sen and will have Adah Sharma in the lead. The film will be released on March 15, 2024, in cinemas worldwide.
