“Rohan Pewekar Appointed MD of Pizza Hut Indian Subcontinent”
US-headquartered Yum! Brands’ business Pizza Hut said it had appointed Rohan Pewekar as its new Managing Director for Pizza Hut Indian Subcontinent. Based in Gurgaon, Rohan will drive the brand across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, as Pizza Hut builds towards the next phases of growth in the region.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta and The Wharton School, Rohan has joined Pizza Hut four years back; he handles the strategic and finance function as Chief Strategy and Finance Officer and has been a vital contributor to pushing the aggressive growth story for the brand in the region. With nearly 15 years of experience in B2C sectors across countries, Rohan brings cross-functional expertise in finance, go-to-market strategies, channel expansion, and many more.
