MS Dhoni Backs Garuda Aerospace’s Vision to Make India a Drone Hub by 2030
MS Dhoni shared that he keeps growing with strength for the ride with IPO-bound Garuda Aerospace by a post on Facebook. Besides, he said he feels that transforming India into a Drone hub by 2030 as envisioned by Garuda is visionary.
Talking about his association with Garuda, Brand Ambassador and stakeholder, M S Dhoni said, “With wings spread across the world, I am proud to be associated with the team’s journey for positive impacts in Agriculture, Defence, Industry 4.0 & consumer drone sector as their captain”.

The Bangalore-headquartered company Garuda Aerospace has signed some major international partnerships in the past, including Thales of France, Agrowing of Israel, and Spirit Aeronautics of Greece. All the partnerships are based on technology transfer and local manufacturing to cut costs and provide much-needed jobs for Indian youth.
Now, it has been two years since MS Dhoni started his association with Garuda Aerospace. It was way back in 100 drones flagged off by PM Narendra Modi in 100 locations. Then; Garuda Aerospace scaled in revenue and emerged as one of the most valuable drone startups of India.
A leader in agricultural and consumer drones, it is looking forward to strengthening its presence in the defence technology space by venturing into the defense drone segment. The company has been working on the most advanced cutting-edge defense drones and has very ambitious plans of becoming a market leader within the next two years.
