With more than two decades across brands, agencies and entrepreneurship, Singh steps into a role that brings corporate brand communication, digital, PR, experiential and consumer engagement under one larger vision.
Corporate communication is no longer confined to what a brand says about itself.
Today, it lives across every consumer touchpoint—from digital platforms and performance marketing to public relations, events, sports and the experiences built around a brand. It is this increasingly integrated nature of brand building that sits at the centre of Mahesh Singh’s new role at Wonder Cement.
Wonder Cement has appointed Singh as Vice President – Corporate Brand Communication, where he will lead the company’s corporate brand strategy and communication initiatives across digital and performance marketing, PR, trade, events, exhibitions, sports and experiential marketing.
With more than 20 years of experience, Singh brings a career that has moved across the brand, agency and entrepreneurial sides of the marketing ecosystem.
A Career Across the Communication Spectrum
Singh’s experience spans some of the industry’s most rapidly evolving categories and platforms.
He spent more than a decade with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, working across integrated communication, media, digital, retail and consumer engagement. His time with the company also included helping build its digital marketing capabilities at a time when brands were beginning to rethink how consumers discover and engage with them.
He subsequently moved to dentsu X India as Vice President – Strategy & Planning, where his work extended across automotive, auto components, electric vehicles, FMCG, consumer electronics, BFSI, apparel and brand consulting.
The role brought together media and marketing strategy, product launches, content, performance marketing and consumer activations—further broadening his experience across the communication ecosystem.
Singh later took the entrepreneurial route with Radiant Brands, before joining Shriram Ltd. (SPR Autotech) as Head – Marketing & Communications. There, his remit included brand and corporate strategy, communications, PR and ORM, retail identity, loyalty programmes and events.
Building One Brand Story Across Multiple Touchpoints
At Wonder Cement, Singh’s mandate brings these experiences together.
His role will encompass the company’s communication across digital, performance marketing, PR, trade, sports and experiential platforms, with an emphasis on creating a more integrated approach to how the brand engages with consumers, trade partners and other stakeholders.
It reflects a broader shift in the way brands are approaching communication today.
The boundaries between advertising, public relations, digital content and consumer experience have become increasingly fluid. A brand’s identity is shaped not by one campaign or one platform, but by how consistently it shows up across all of them.
For a company operating across a large manufacturing and distribution ecosystem, that integration becomes particularly significant.
The Road Ahead for Wonder Cement
Part of the RK Group, Wonder Cement has its roots in Rajasthan and has built its business around quality, trust and transparency. The company currently operates six manufacturing plants with a cement capacity of 21.5 MTPA, alongside a workforce of more than 2,000 employees and a dealer network of over 5,000.
Singh’s appointment comes with a mandate that extends beyond traditional corporate communications—bringing together the multiple layers through which a modern brand builds visibility, relevance and engagement.
And perhaps that is the more interesting story behind the appointment: as communication becomes increasingly interconnected, the people leading it are being asked to think beyond individual channels and towards the entire brand experience.
