From jewellery and couture to homegrown design, Hidden Treasures: The Pink City Edit is bringing Jaipur’s quietly compelling creative scene to Mumbai this October.
There is a particular kind of luxury that doesn’t announce itself.
It lives in the precision of a hand-finished detail, the intimacy of an artisanal technique passed down through generations, and the discovery of a label you haven’t yet seen everywhere. This October, Mumbai will get a closer look at that world when Hidden Treasures: The Pink City Edit makes its debut in the city.
Taking place on 16 and 17 October at The Palace Halls, NSCI, Worli, the two-day showcase brings together a curated selection of fashion, jewellery, lifestyle and design labels from Rajasthan—offering an edit of Jaipur beyond its familiar associations with palaces, prints and precious stones.
Among the names to look out for are Keya by Adbhut, Rasa Jaipur, Benu Bhatnagar, Shreeji Jewellers and Surbhi Shah, alongside a wider selection of independent creative voices.
The new Jaipur aesthetic
Jaipur has always occupied a distinctive place in India’s luxury landscape. Its relationship with craft is both historic and deeply contemporary, spanning jewellery-making, textiles, embroidery, surface design and decorative arts.
But what makes the Pink City Edit interesting is its focus on the evolving side of that story.
Here, heritage isn’t treated as something static. Instead, traditional craftsmanship finds new expression through contemporary design, independent labels and a generation of creatives redefining what Jaipur luxury can look like today.
It is, in many ways, a portrait of a city in transition—where the old and new coexist rather effortlessly.
A platform built around discovery
Founded in Jaipur in 2018, Hidden Treasures has built its identity around bringing lesser-known designers, artisans and creative businesses into the spotlight.
Rather than following the conventional exhibition formula, the platform takes a more considered approach to curation, moving across India to showcase talent spanning fashion, jewellery, home, lifestyle and design.
The philosophy feels particularly relevant now, as the definition of luxury continues to shift. Increasingly, the most coveted pieces are those with a sense of place, provenance and individuality—objects that feel discovered rather than simply acquired.
From the Pink City to Mumbai
For Mumbai, the arrival of Hidden Treasures offers something beyond another addition to the city’s fashion calendar.
It is an opportunity to encounter Jaipur through its makers.
Think distinctive jewellery, fashion with a strong sense of craft, design rooted in Rajasthan’s visual language and emerging names whose work may soon find a much larger audience.
Because sometimes the most interesting names in fashion aren’t the ones already on everyone’s radar.
They are the ones you’re about to discover.
