This partnership constitutes over 20 magazine brands and over 40 newspaper brands, thereby providing varied content relating to lifestyle for the users of ChatGPT. The users will no longer need to wade through the hail of local news, fashion, home design, health, fitness, and automotive information so that they can have a richer experience on the topics of everyday discussion.

“With generative AI, the journalism produced by professional journalists has to be at the center of all the products,” Hearst Newspapers President Jeff Johnson said. “This partnership will enable trusted, curated content that the many award-winning journalists of Hearst Newspapers create to become part of OpenAI’s products, such as ChatGPT, further enriching the timeliness and relevance of their results.”

This partnership helps us grow the future of magazine content,” said Hearst Magazines President Debi Chirichella. “This partnership secures the amplification of our high-quality writing and expertise, the cultural and historical context, and attribution and credibility, as OpenAI’s products evolve.”

Bringing Hearst’s trusted content into our products elevates our ability to provide engaging, reliable information to our users.

All the content obtained from Hearst in ChatGPT will be credited appropriately and hyperlinked for everyone’s comfort and ease of access to the source. Other business Hearst may engage in besides magazines and newspapers is outside the purview of this agreement.
