The New Fragrance Launch Isn’t Just Something You Wear
What if fragrance could be tasted?
Not literally, of course—but experienced through another sense.
That is the playful premise behind indē wild’s latest fragrance launch, where the beauty brand has partnered with PATRÓN Experiences to transform the stories and scent profiles of its newest hair and body mists into bespoke cocktails.
The result is a concept the brands have aptly called “sip your fragrance.”
For Solar Skin and After Heat, fragrance leaves the vanity and enters the cocktail glass, turning a traditional product launch into a multisensory experience of scent, flavour and hospitality.
⸻
Two Scents, Two Personalities
The new limited-edition fragrance mists introduce two distinctly different interpretations of summer.
Solar Skin is luminous, warm and unisex.
After Heat is sensual, spicy and more provocative.
Instead of simply describing their notes, indē wild and PATRÓN Experiences have translated those personalities into cocktails—allowing guests to experience the fragrances through taste as well as scent.
It is beauty storytelling with a rather delicious plot twist.
⸻
Solar Skin: The Golden-Hour Fragrance
Solar Skin opens with the brightness of bergamot, before moving into a soft jasmine heart and settling into a more understated base of white cedarwood and papyrus.
It is warm without being heavy, luminous without becoming overly sweet.
PATRÓN Experiences interprets these contrasting facets through two cocktails:
Solar Hour Highball
Built around the brighter, fresher personality of Solar Skin, the cocktail captures the fragrance’s uplifting opening.
Last Light Fashioned
A deeper interpretation that draws from the woody, grounded character of white cedarwood and papyrus.
Together, the two cocktails offer different expressions of the same scent—much like fragrance itself changes depending on the moment, the skin and the atmosphere.
⸻
After Heat: When Summer Gets Sensual
If Solar Skin feels like golden hour, After Heat arrives after the sun has already done its work.
The fragrance combines black pepper and tangerine, unfolding into a warm floral-citrus profile.
It is brighter, spicier and distinctly more sensual.
Its cocktail counterparts follow suit.
Heat Wave Picante
A spicy interpretation that reflects the energy of black pepper and the heat associated with sun-soaked days.
Endless Summer Margarita
A citrus-led expression that brings the fragrance’s tangerine and floral facets into a more playful cocktail format.
The idea isn’t to replicate the fragrance literally.
It is to translate its personality.
⸻
Welcome to the Sip & Spritz Soirées
To introduce the fragrances, Diipa Büller-Khosla, founder of indē wild, hosted a series of intimate Sip & Spritz soirées with close friends.
Rather than staging a conventional beauty launch, the gatherings were designed as immersive, at-home experiences.
Guests could discover the fragrances while simultaneously exploring their notes through cocktails.
The format creates a more intimate relationship between product and consumer—less product demonstration, more social ritual.
And importantly, it makes fragrance something to talk about, taste around and experience together.
⸻
Where Beauty Meets Hospitality
The collaboration sits at an increasingly interesting intersection of luxury categories.
Beauty brands are no longer limiting experiential storytelling to counters, launches and masterclasses.
They are borrowing from hospitality.
Hospitality, meanwhile, is increasingly borrowing from beauty, fashion and culture to create experiences that feel more curated and personal.
The indē wild and PATRÓN collaboration sits neatly in that overlap.
Fragrance provides the story.
Cocktails provide the translation.
Hospitality provides the setting.
⸻
Diipa Khosla’s Sensory Approach to Fragrance
For Diipa Khosla, fragrance has always been connected to memory and emotion.
The partnership reflects indē wild’s broader approach to beauty as something that can be experienced through multiple senses rather than simply applied.
By translating the fragrances into cocktails, the brand gives consumers another route into their identities.
Solar Skin isn’t just something you smell.
It becomes the freshness of a highball or the warmth of an evening cocktail.
After Heat isn’t just something you spray.
It becomes spice, citrus and the lingering feeling of summer.
⸻
The Rise of Sensory Storytelling
The collaboration also taps into a larger movement within luxury and beauty: the experience is becoming as important as the product.
Consumers increasingly encounter fragrances through elaborate narratives—destinations, music, food, fashion, art and hospitality.
The bottle is still important.
The scent is still the hero.
But the world surrounding it is becoming part of what makes a fragrance desirable.
“Drink your fragrance” is therefore more than a clever launch idea.
It is a way of making an invisible product—scent—tangible through another sensory language.
⸻
The Mauve Perspective
The most luxurious thing about fragrance has always been its ability to create a world without showing you everything.
A scent can suggest a place, a person, a season or a memory without ever explaining itself.
indē wild’s collaboration with PATRÓN Experiences takes that idea one step further.
Instead of asking guests to simply smell Solar Skin or After Heat, it asks them to taste their personalities.
It turns notes into flavours, fragrance into conversation and a product launch into an evening.
And perhaps that is where modern luxury is increasingly headed: away from simply owning beautiful things and towards experiencing them in unexpected ways.
Because the next time someone asks what your fragrance smells like, you might have a more interesting answer.
“Try it in a glass.”
