Maserati, the Italian luxury automotive brand, is proud to announce its entry into the SUV segment with the Maserati Grecale in India. The new Maserati Grecale strikes a balance between sportiness and elegance, interpreting innovation, versatility, and luxury: a superior SUV with spaciousness and comfort that can assure excellent performance, driveability, and handling while showing off-road skills and the best driving experience.
Maserati Grecale is 100% made in Italy – engineered in Modena and manufactured at the Cassino plant, it represents Maserati’s great leap forward in transforming the SUV experience in India. The Trident’s SUV is a perfect companion for admirers of elegant exterior style, matched with functionality that comes with SUVs.
At the Indian launch, the Maserati Grecale is available in three unique versions: the Grecale GT with a four-cylinder mild hybrid, 300 hp. It holds within it the brand’s most urban, minimal, and contemporary spirit. Perfect for dynamic, stylish global city dwellers who are curious and looking towards fashion with a refined way of their own, is; then there is the Grecale Modena, which packs a four-cylinder 330-hp mild hybrid engine—this car was made for that individual having an exclusive taste of elegance that’s timeless in its sportsmanship out in the open. It is intended as a means to make the very best of your time and surroundings: the high-performance Trofeo with a 530-hp V6. This version corresponds to the most extreme aspect of Maserati, with the explicit focus on performance but never giving up comfort. This trim is suited to sports enthusiasts who think of it in terms of performance and a challenge that is personal and constant.
The Maserati Grecale is for the discerning driver who requires functionality, luxury, and style. It establishes a new benchmark in its class since it combines performance with exquisite comfort and leading-edge technology. Class-leading interior space, drivability, handling, and acceleration—0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds for the Trofeo, top speed at 285 km/h again for the Trofeo—sound quality, as well as a very rich set of standards and a great deal of trim material used, like wood, carbon fiber, leather, and outstanding specifications as standard.
Innovative technical specifications include the Maserati Intelligent Assistant, the MIA Multimedia system, the latest infotainment, comfort display, digital clock, and the available option of the Heads-up Display. At the same time, all-round sound experience will be provided by the iconic signature sound of the Maserati engine paired with the immersive multi-dimensional sound system from Sonus faber.
Maserati is “unique by design” and is clearly recognisable. Thus, inspiration for Grecale was born organically from the roots of the brand and its iconic character. Once again in Grecale, lines have been consecrated to performance and dynamism, with timeless, exclusive proportions, impervious to the waڑies of fashion. Functionality combines with emotion in the Grecale: the SUV embodies intrinsic values, “made in Italy,” which Maserati holds, and the ability to reinvent itself, to develop while keeping a constant eye on the future but never losing its DNA.
The Maserati SUV is “the everyday exceptional”: the thrill of luxury and pure innovation, in perfect balance. This would be a car with great performance and unique, stylish lines—full of character—but the highest quality also shines through in its interiors, thanks to the refinement of the materials selected for the finishes. The full-electric version, based on 400V technology, will complete the range of Grecale in India in the near future: it is a new chapter for the brand, entirely committed to the new era of electrification. “As Maserati continues to innovate and expand its product line-up, the Grecale SUV marks an important step in our journey. With its blend of performance, luxury, and technology, Grecale re-establishes the role of Maserati within the luxury car sector. We look forward to bringing this outstanding vehicle to India, where it will give our patrons an everyday exceptional driving experience.”—said Philippe Claverol, Head of Overseas at Maserati.
On the launch of Grecale, Maserati further increases its network in India with new dealerships based in New Delhi and Bengaluru. The new dealerships, namely Maserati North India in New Delhi and VST Maserati in Bengaluru, complement the already existing dealer in Mumbai. It will feature top models of the brand for display and retail across these dealerships, enhancing access to Maserati’s luxury offerings for customers.
