India is gearing up for a massive holiday season. Early data from Klook, a leading pan-regional experiences platform in Asia Pacific, reveals that Indian travellers year-end wishlist trends are already booming.
Users are saving an average of three experiences each on the platform, shortlisting full itineraries before they even hit the book button. Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan have emerged as the clear frontrunners for dream destinations this festive season.
To make the holidays sweeter, Klook has launched a special campaign running until 8 November 2026. Travellers who “heart” their top-pick activities, hotels, and experiences stand a chance to win a free experience, with massive exclusive discounts kicking off on 9 November.
Early Planners Are Building Full Itineraries
The trend of saving multiple experiences shows that Indian travellers are planning ahead to maximize their trips. Klook data suggests that Indians are shortlisting more items per destination than travellers in other Asian markets. Because the year-end is a prime time for family vacations, the planning begins weeks in advance.
“Year-end is the one stretch when Indian travellers plan with the whole family in mind, and that planning starts weeks before any booking,” says Shivam Tyagi, Marketing Lead at Klook India & Middle East.
“The wishlist is the honest part of that process. It’s where people save what they would truly love to do, before price or dates come into it. Good travel deals should start from there, so this year-end we decided to offer what people want rather than asking them to settle for what’s on sale.” — Shivam Tyagi, Klook India & Middle East
From island cruises and theme parks to adventure tours, hotels, and skyline dinners, travellers are shortlisting everything to build the perfect vacation.
A Festive Gifting Idea: Give an Experience
With Diwali and the winter holidays approaching, travel wishlists are pulling double duty as gift guides. Instead of traditional physical objects, travellers are gifting experiences their loved ones will remember forever.
The wishlist feature makes it simple to shortlist ideas, compare options, and share favourites with family and friends. Starting 9 November, special discounts on the most-hearted experiences will go live, allowing shoppers to turn those wishlists into reality at a fraction of the cost.
