Amidst the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025, Himalaya BabyCare introduced a unique initiative, “Prepare Your Baby Bag,” to advocate for shared parenting and redefine caregiving roles in India. In collaboration with the Prayagraj Mela Authority (PMA) and key partner organizations, Himalaya BabyCare’s campaign utilized the Maha Kumbh Mela as a platform to inspire change in parenting dynamics. The initiative resonated with millions of families, driving awareness about the importance of shared responsibility in ensuring a child’s health and well-being.

A highlight of the campaign was the interactive booth at the Mela, where families engaged in the fun and educational “Prepare Your Baby Bag” challenge. In this timed activity, parents raced to fill a baby bag with essential products from the Himalaya BabyCare range, including baby soap, oil, wipes, lotion, and powder. The challenge not only emphasized the importance of knowing the right products for a baby’s care but also sparked conversations about equal parenting.

Families who completed the challenge received complimentary product samples, ensuring they experienced the trusted care of Himalaya BabyCare first-hand. To extend the impact of the campaign, these thoughtfully packed baby bags were donated to orphanages, providing underprivileged infants with essential care products and reinforcing Himalaya BabyCare’s commitment to nurturing every child with the gentlest care, regardless of their circumstances.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Chakravarthi N V, Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “The Maha Kumbh Mela brought millions together, making it the perfect platform to inspire positive change in parenting dynamics. Parenting is a shared journey, yet in many households, childcare responsibilities are often seen as the primary responsibility of mothers. Through this campaign, we encouraged fathers to share the load and embrace equal parenting, thereby creating a supportive environment for families across India.”

The campaign was widely promoted through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, encouraging millions of families to participate. With content available in Hindi, the campaign resonated with diverse communities across urban and rural India, ensuring every parent understood the importance of shared responsibility.
