From Japanese omakase and Wagyu burgers to Riviera dining and one of Paris’ most legendary cabaret experiences, Dubai’s restaurant scene is showing no signs of slowing down.
Dubai has never really been a city that waits for the next dining trend to arrive.
It imports it, reinvents it, gives it a spectacular address—and then moves on to the next big thing.
As 2026 heads towards its final months, that appetite for what’s new remains firmly intact. The city’s upcoming restaurant calendar reads like a global culinary itinerary, bringing together Michelin-starred chefs, Japanese concepts, European favourites, beachside destinations and names with serious international pedigree.
Some are arriving before the year is out. Others are already looking ahead to 2027.
Either way, these are the openings worth keeping on your Dubai dining radar.
1. L’Abysse
Where: One&Only The Palm
Opening: October 19, 2026
French fine dining meets Japanese omakase at L’Abysse, the celebrated concept from multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno.
The Dubai restaurant will be an intimate 34-seat experience, with sushi master Ken Ishihata leading a 13-course sequence from a central ten-seat counter.
The concept already has outposts in Paris, Monaco and Osaka, making its Dubai arrival one for serious omakase enthusiasts.
2. Zuma Beach House
Where: Jumeirah 1
Opening: 2027
Zuma is taking its Japanese-inspired dining universe somewhere a little more relaxed.
The forthcoming Zuma Beach House is planned for a waterfront site overlooking Port de La Mer marina and will become the group’s third UAE location.
Expect the familiar Zuma sensibility, but translated into a daytime, beachside setting—with the location doing as much of the talking as the food.
3. Hikiniku To Come
Where: CMPLX, Al Quoz
Opening: 2026
For the burger obsessive, this could be one of the more intriguing arrivals.
Japanese concept Hikiniku To Come is known for its freshly ground Wagyu Hamburg patties, cooked to order and served in a distinctive Japanese-style experience.
The Dubai location will use 100 per cent halal-certified Wagyu beef, with further UAE expansion already planned for 2027.
In a city that has no shortage of burgers, this one is betting on precision rather than excess.
4. The Black Horse
Where: The Onyx Tower 2, The Greens
Opening: October 2026
Dubai is also getting something decidedly British.
The Black Horse comes from the team behind Mezzanine Bar & Kitchen and The Black Sheep, promising a neighbourhood gastropub atmosphere in The Greens.
Think British comfort food, drinks, live music and sport—the sort of place designed for lingering rather than making an entrance.
And in a city built around spectacle, that may be exactly what makes it appealing.
5. Casea 101 by Yannick Alléno
Where: One&Only The Palm
Opening: October 19, 2026
Yannick Alléno appears twice on the list, this time with Casea 101, a waterfront concept inspired by the Riviera.
The menu will lean into Italian coastal cooking and Mediterranean flavours, while the setting is designed to move naturally from long lunches to sunset drinks, dinner and late-night cocktails.
In other words, this is less about a single meal and more about making an entire day around the restaurant.
6. ROKA The Palm
Where: Six Senses The Palm
Opening: 2026
After establishing itself in Business Bay, ROKA is heading towards the Palm.
The second Dubai location will sit on the rooftop of Six Senses The Palm, bringing the restaurant’s signature Japanese robatayaki cooking to a resort setting.
The exact opening date and further menu details are still to come, but the combination of ROKA’s open-fire Japanese cooking and a Palm Jumeirah address is already enough to put this one on the list.
7. Tapasake Dubai
Where: One Za’abeel
Opening: Autumn 2026
Tapasake is returning to the Dubai dining scene with more than just a restaurant.
The One Za’abeel reopening will combine Japanese cuisine with Mediterranean influences, alongside the return of its infinity pool and the addition of a new Sky Lounge.
It is the kind of destination Dubai does particularly well: dinner, drinks, music and a skyline view rolled into one evening.
8. Crazy Horse Dubai
Where: Zabeel Theatre, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray
Opening: November 12, 2026
This one sits somewhere between dining, nightlife and performance.
The legendary Crazy Horse Paris is making its permanent Middle Eastern debut with a Dubai edition featuring 18 international dancers, elaborate choreography, lighting and visual effects, alongside a DJ and Master of Ceremonies.
Guests can choose between a 90-minute show or a longer show-and-dinner experience, with tickets starting at Dhs400.
It is less a restaurant reservation than an entire night out.
9. Cipriani Lido
Where: J1 Beach, Jumeirah 1
Opening: 2027
Cipriani is taking its signature glamour to the beach.
Cipriani Lido will be the brand’s first Lido concept in the UAE, combining a restaurant with private dining spaces, a terrace, Bellini Bar and Lounge, cabanas and sunbeds overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
There will also be cake and gelato, alongside a Living Room inspired by the brand’s Socialista concept.
Essentially: classic Cipriani, with a beach wardrobe.
Dubai’s Restaurant Scene Isn’t Slowing Down
What makes this next wave interesting isn’t simply the number of names arriving.
It is the range.
One end of the spectrum brings Michelin-starred gastronomy and intimate omakase. Another brings burgers, gastropubs and beach clubs. Elsewhere, dining is merging with entertainment, nightlife and destination experiences.
That may be the most Dubai thing about the whole list.
Here, a restaurant is rarely just a restaurant.
It can be a hotel destination, a beach club, a skyline experience, a celebrity magnet or the place everyone wants to be seen next.
And with 2027 already beginning to fill up, Dubai’s dining calendar clearly isn’t finished yet.
The next reservation to obsess over may already be on its way.
