Founded by Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty, the contemporary label opens its first Dehradun store, bringing its expressive approach to everyday dressing to a new audience.
Streetwear has long outgrown its subcultural roots to become a language of identity, individuality and everyday self-expression. For Chapter2Drip, that language now finds a new home in Dehradun, where the contemporary fashion label has opened its first store at Mall of Dehradun.
Launched on October 21, 2026, the 700-square-foot space marks another step in the brand’s growing retail journey, extending its presence beyond its existing stores in Mumbai and Delhi. Founded by Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty, Chapter2Drip is building its identity around fashion that reflects personal evolution, shifting moods and the freedom to define one’s own style.
A New Address for Everyday Streetwear
The Dehradun store brings Chapter2Drip’s collection of contemporary streetwear and everyday essentials closer to consumers in the city. Designed to cater to men, women and children, the label speaks particularly to Gen Z and millennial audiences, for whom clothing is as much about personal expression as it is about function.
The store also showcases the brand’s latest LAYERS collection, alongside its wider range of apparel. With two stores in Mumbai and another in Delhi, the new opening strengthens Chapter2Drip’s offline footprint and reflects its ambition to reach fashion-conscious consumers across more Indian markets.
Dressing for Your Own Chapter
At the heart of Chapter2Drip is the idea that style evolves with the person wearing it. Its design language draws on expressive silhouettes, washes and textures, creating pieces intended to reflect the many identities, experiences and moods that shape contemporary life.
For co-founder Rhea Chakraborty, the expansion is an opportunity to bring that philosophy to a wider community.
“As Chapter2Drip continues to grow, we’re excited to bring the brand to new cities and connect with more people through our stores. For us, fashion is a way of expressing who you are and where you are in life. Expanding into Dehradun is another step in making Chapter2Drip accessible to a wider community,” she says.
Co-founder Showik Chakraborty echoes the emphasis on relevance and individuality, describing the brand’s journey as an effort to create streetwear that resonates with how people approach fashion and self-expression today. The Dehradun opening, he adds, continues the label’s effort to bring its collections closer to consumers across the country.
From Digital Culture to Physical Spaces
The launch drew influencers and members of the brand’s community, who explored the new store and shared moments from the occasion on social media. Beyond the opening itself, the space offers consumers an opportunity to engage with Chapter2Drip’s aesthetic in person, moving the brand’s identity from online discovery into a physical retail experience.
As Indian streetwear continues to find new audiences, Chapter2Drip’s Dehradun debut signals the next chapter in its retail expansion. The proposition is straightforward: fashion that moves with its wearer, embraces change and leaves room for individuality.
