“Gurfateh Singh Pirzada Shines in Call Me Bae, Thanks Supporters”

Basking in the success of recently released show ‘Call Me Bae’, Gurfateh Singh Pirzada has won hearts once again with his mere charm and skills. Sharing that his co-star Ananya Panday told him about the show and asked him to pursue it, Gurfateh also shared gratitude for the director Collin DCunha as he gave him this part when he was going through a low phase in his life.

In this series, Gurfateh is playing Neel N, a dedicated journalist, and shows the will to report actual news instead of frivolous and sensational circus. He has managed to make the internet go weak in their knees with his charming screen presence and adorable chemistry with Ananya Panday.

Overwhelmed by the positive response coming for Call Me Bae and more so for his character Neel, Gurfateh wrote a heartfelt post on his social media as he said, “Disclaimer, long emotional post coming up.
These last few days have just been nothing short of magic. the love that the audience is giving CMB and my character is better than anything I could’ve imagined.
Talk about right place at the right time. One fine evening at Soho House-it has to be, cos one can always find me lurking there @ananyapanday told me about this show she was doing and that there’s this part of the reporter that I should totally pursue.what followed was not as simple as it sounds but we somehow made it work and I was in the show just about 2 weeks from shoot. and ofcourse none of this would ve been possible without our Director sahab @collindcunha
He gave me this part when I was down and out-so, in some weird way, exactly the kind of work I was looking for.it all works out for the best. Its been a journey and a half, but that story is for another day, he added. As of today, this has been such an giving experience with the most amazing crew and cast!

Soon after the show started airing, the internet has been gushing over Neel and rooting for his chemistry with Bae aka Ananya Panday. Earlier, Gurfateh has showcased his versatility with diverse and intense projects such as Guilty, Class and Brahmastra amongst others.
