From Bombay’s street-food energy to Goan coastal flavours, global street food and fire-and-smoke cooking, Sayaji Raipur’s September brunch calendar gives the city a new reason to linger over Sundays.
There is something inherently indulgent about a Sunday brunch — the unhurried pace, the long table, the second helping one did not quite plan for and the feeling that the afternoon can stretch as long as the conversation does.
This September, Sayaji Raipur is leaning into that ritual with a culinary calendar designed to make every Sunday feel different.
At Cravings, the hotel is presenting a month-long series of themed Sunday brunches, taking diners through four distinct gastronomic experiences. Rather than offering the same spread week after week, the September programme is built around changing culinary narratives — giving families, friends and food enthusiasts a reason to return each weekend.
Four Sundays. Four Culinary Journeys.
The series begins on 6 September with Bombay to Goa, bringing together the energetic flavours of Mumbai and the coastal character of Goa.
The experience draws inspiration from Western India’s street food, seafood and regional favourites, accompanied by live entertainment and a dedicated kids’ play zone — making it as much a family afternoon as a culinary outing.
The journey continues with a Grandparents Day Brunch on 13 September, followed by a World Street Food Brunch on 20 September, before concluding with a Fire & Smoke Brunch on 27 September.
Each theme is designed to change the mood and menu of the Sunday experience, transforming the traditional hotel brunch into a series of gastronomic discoveries.
More Than a Buffet
At the heart of the experience is an extensive buffet featuring live counters, Indian and international favourites, desserts and refreshing beverages.
But the appeal of the format lies beyond what is placed on the plate. With live culinary stations, entertainment and spaces designed for families and groups, the brunch is conceived as a social experience — one where dining becomes an afternoon of gathering, discovery and lingering.
It is a particularly fitting approach for Raipur’s evolving food and hospitality landscape, where consumers are increasingly looking for experiences that bring together food, ambience and time spent together.
As Rohit Kumar, Director F&B, Sayaji Raipur, puts it:
“Our Sunday brunches are designed around the simple idea of bringing people together over good food and memorable experiences. By introducing a different culinary theme every Sunday, we hope to give our guests something new to look forward to each weekend.”

A Sunday Worth Staying For
In a city where weekends are increasingly becoming an opportunity to discover new dining experiences, Sayaji Raipur’s September programme is built around a simple proposition: there should always be something new waiting at the table.
One Sunday may take diners from Bombay to Goa. The next may turn towards family and nostalgia; another may travel across the world through street food; and the final one may bring the theatre of fire and smoke into the afternoon.
Four themes, one address — and a month of Sundays worth making plans for.
