Miraj Cinemas expands its NCR footprint with a new four-screen multiplex at ATS Khyber Range, Ghaziabad, featuring its Signature luxury recliner format.
Miraj Cinemas Brings Its Signature Luxury to Ghaziabad
Movie night is no longer necessarily about simply watching a movie.
Increasingly, it is about where you watch it, what you eat while watching it and how comfortably you can sink into the experience.
Miraj Cinemas is leaning into that evolution with the opening of a new four-screen multiplex at ATS Khyber Range, Ghaziabad, located near Manipal Hospital, Pandav Nagar, on NH-24.
The new property marks another step in Miraj’s NCR expansion while bringing its premium Signature format to Ghaziabad for the first time.
With 447 seats across four screens, ultra-luxury recliners, an exclusive lounge, immersive audiovisual technology and an expanded food-and-beverage offering, the property is designed to make the cinema itself part of the evening.
Four Screens, One Premium Cinema Experience
The new Miraj Cinemas property houses four screens with a combined seating capacity of 447 guests.
The configuration includes:
- Screen 1: 110 seats
- Screen 2: 181 seats
- Screen 3: 107 seats
- Screen 4 — Signature: 49 seats
The fourth auditorium is where Miraj turns up the luxury.
The Signature auditorium features 49 spacious ultra-luxury recliner seats, alongside an exclusive lounge and dedicated guest access.
The format is now present in three Indian cities, with Ghaziabad joining Patiala and Delhi as the latest destination to experience Miraj Signature.
Where Cinema Meets Comfort
The idea behind the Signature format is fairly simple: if you’re going to spend two or three hours watching a film, you might as well be comfortable.
The premium auditorium is designed around spacious reclining seating and a more private experience, while the property as a whole incorporates advanced audiovisual technology and immersive surround sound.
The result is intended to bring greater depth to both the visual and sonic elements of the cinematic experience.
For audiences, that means the usual movie outing gets a more elevated setting.
⸻
And Then There Is the Food
Because apparently popcorn alone wasn’t enough.
At the new Miraj property, food and beverage has been given a starring role through two dedicated concepts: PopCorner and Chef’s Corner.
PopCorner
The cinema classic gets its own dedicated counter, offering freshly popped:
- Salted popcorn
- Cheese popcorn
- Caramel popcorn
- Quick bites
Chef’s Corner
The more ambitious of the two, Chef’s Corner is a live open-kitchen concept where guests can watch their food being prepared.
The menu spans gourmet burgers, sandwiches, wood-fired pizzas, frankie rolls, appetisers, chaat, pasta and more.
Essentially, you can now go to the cinema for dinner and happen to watch a film while you’re there.
⸻
No More Missing the Trailers for Your Food
Miraj has also integrated a QR-based ordering system, allowing guests to order directly from their seats.
The idea is practical: food comes to you rather than requiring you to leave the auditorium and miss part of the experience.
It is a small operational detail, but one that reflects the larger shift in cinema culture—from a screening venue towards a more complete leisure experience.
⸻
Why Ghaziabad?
For Miraj, the new location is part of a broader NCR expansion strategy.
The company says the ATS Khyber Range location was selected in response to the residential and commercial development taking place in this part of Ghaziabad, alongside the area’s growing young population.
The company already has a presence across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Sahibabad, and says it is continuing to scout additional locations across the region.
Bringing the Signature format to Ghaziabad is therefore more than a new screen count.
It is a statement about where Miraj sees premium cinema demand emerging next.
⸻
A New Kind of Night Out
The positioning of the property extends beyond the film itself.
With premium recliners, a dedicated lounge, enhanced sound and projection, a more ambitious food offering and seat-side ordering, Miraj Cinemas ATS Khyber Range is being designed as a destination for the entire evening.
A family outing.
A date night.
A weekend plan with friends.
Or simply an excuse to leave the house and watch something on a screen considerably larger than the one in your living room.
⸻
The Mauve Perspective
Luxury is increasingly becoming less about excess and more about experience design.
And cinema is no exception.
The premiumisation of movie-going reflects a wider shift in how audiences spend their leisure time. A ticket is no longer competing only with another cinema. It is competing with restaurants, streaming platforms, gaming, travel and every other way people can choose to spend an evening.
That makes comfort, hospitality, food and atmosphere increasingly important.
Miraj’s Ghaziabad launch understands the assignment.
The movie remains the star.
But the recliner, the pizza, the popcorn and the convenience are becoming part of the supporting cast.
And for Ghaziabad’s growing leisure landscape, that’s a rather compelling new reason to go to the movies.
