Featuring live performances by Shiva Choudhary, Dheeraj Bhandari and Alisha Arora, alongside DJ sets, traditional dhol beats and festive attractions, the October celebration brought thousands together for a night of music and Garba.
When tradition meets the pulse of a live music festival, the result is an evening that brings an entire city together. In Gurgaon, that spirit took centre stage on October 17 as Ace Hospitality hosted Dandiya Under the Stars at Library Ground, Huda Gymkhana Club, Sector 29, drawing more than 10,000 attendees for a celebration of music, dance and festive culture.
Among the city’s large-scale festive gatherings, the event brought together the familiar rhythms of Garba and dandiya with contemporary entertainment, creating an atmosphere designed for families, friends and groups looking to celebrate the season in style. Mrig Sight Media joined the event as its public relations partner.
A Night of Music, Movement and Festive Energy
The evening’s entertainment programme brought together live performances, DJ sets and traditional percussion. Dheeraj Bhandari, Shiva Choudhary and Alisha Arora took to the stage, while DJ Rishi kept the energy moving with music throughout the event.
Traditional dhol beats added to the festive atmosphere, connecting the cultural roots of the celebration with the high-energy format of a contemporary live event. The result was a gathering that placed music and collective participation at the heart of the experience.
Beyond the stage, food stalls serving multiple cuisines, dedicated photo booths, interactive activities and lucky draw prizes gave attendees additional reasons to explore the venue. These attractions helped extend the event beyond its performance schedule, turning the ground into a destination for an evening of shared celebration.
Building Experiences That Bring People Together
For Ace Hospitality, the turnout reflected the appeal of creating festive experiences that combine cultural traditions with large-scale entertainment.
“The response to Dandiya Under the Stars has been overwhelming, with over 10,000 attendees joining us for an evening of music, dance and celebration,” said Ashish Chaturvedi, Co-Founder of Ace Hospitality. He added that the vision was to create an engaging festive experience that brought people together, with the audience’s enthusiasm making the event particularly memorable.
The collaboration also highlighted the role of public relations in supporting large-format entertainment experiences. Rahul Ranjan, Director of Mrig Sight Media, described the event as a meeting point for live entertainment and the cultural spirit of the festive season.
“We were delighted to partner with Ace Hospitality on this event and support its media outreach and public relations,” he said, noting that the attendance reflected growing interest in experience-led celebrations in Gurgaon.
Gurgaon’s Growing Appetite for Live Experiences
With its combination of traditional dance, contemporary music, food and interactive attractions, Dandiya Under the Stars reflected the evolving format of festive entertainment in urban India. Such gatherings offer audiences more than a performance to watch; they create spaces for participation, social connection and shared cultural experiences.
For Gurgaon, a city with an active calendar of social and entertainment events, the celebration added another large-scale gathering to its festive landscape. For Ace Hospitality, the event offered an opportunity to bring its vision of community-driven entertainment to life.
As the final beats gave way to the close of the evening, the defining feature of Dandiya Under the Stars was its scale — more than 10,000 people coming together through music, movement and the shared joy of the festive season.
Because some celebrations are remembered not just for who takes the stage, but for how many people come together to dance.
