From linen and technical innovation to after-dark dressing, the contemporary menswear label explores its evolving vision of luxury through craftsmanship, materiality and immersive storytelling.
BENGALURU, October 2026: Luxury is increasingly defined by the details that go beyond appearance — the way a fabric falls, the ease of movement it allows and the craftsmanship that shapes its final form. At its latest showcase in Bengaluru, House of Aldeno, the contemporary menswear label by CIEL Textile, explored this evolving idea through an immersive presentation that brought fashion, art, music and storytelling together.
Moving away from the conventions of a traditional runway show, the label presented its latest collection through six distinct sequences, each introduced by an abstract visual representation that established its mood before the models took to the runway. The result was a considered exploration of contemporary menswear, where material innovation and design came together to tell a larger story.
At the centre of the presentation was House of Aldeno’s philosophy of evolving luxury — an approach that places product excellence, craftsmanship and individuality at the forefront while responding to the changing aspirations of the modern consumer.
An Evening Where Art Met Fashion
The showcase began with a live artistic installation, as a six-by-four-foot abstract artwork gradually took shape while guests arrived, accompanied by a live violin performance. Conceived as an evolving visual narrative, the installation set the tone for an evening that positioned fashion within a broader creative landscape.
The event brought together senior leadership from CIEL Group and CIEL Textile, including Guillaume Dalais, CEO of CIEL Group, and Eric Dorchies, CEO of CIEL Textile. Their presence highlighted the brand’s journey from CIEL Textile’s extensive manufacturing expertise towards a distinct, brand-led expression of contemporary luxury.
Curated by Prasad Bidappa alongside Rajesh Kumar, CEO of the Woven Cluster at CIEL Textile, the showcase brought together its various creative elements into a cohesive presentation.
Six Expressions of Contemporary Menswear
The collection unfolded across six sequences, beginning with tonal whites and layered silhouettes before moving through Eversharp shirting, denim, linen and relaxed layering. The presentation culminated in an After Dark edit, offering a more polished interpretation of dressing for evening occasions.
Together, the edits reflected the label’s approach to modern menswear: understated, versatile and rooted in the relationship between fabric, function and form.
Linen emerged as a defining material story, accounting for approximately 40 per cent of the collection. Its prominence underscored the importance of breathable fabrics and relaxed sophistication in contemporary wardrobes.
Another highlight was Quatroflex, a fabric engineered for flexibility and all-weather wear. The material reflects House of Aldeno’s emphasis on integrating technical performance into refined everyday dressing, without compromising on design.
The presentation also spotlighted Eversharp, the label’s crisp cotton shirting proposition. Developed using a specialised treatment, the fabric achieves its distinctive finish while reducing the need for frequent ironing — an example of how functional innovation can inform the modern wardrobe.
From Manufacturing Expertise to Brand Identity
For House of Aldeno, the showcase marked another step in articulating a distinct identity within India’s contemporary menswear landscape. Drawing on CIEL Textile’s manufacturing capabilities, the brand is building its proposition around considered design, material innovation and pieces intended to move across different settings and occasions.
Speaking at the showcase, Rajesh Kumar reflected on the brand’s evolution: “Aldeno is no longer just an idea. We have now been serving consumers for almost five years. And that journey has given us something extremely important, confidence. What you see is not simply a collection. It is a young brand beginning to tell the world who it wants to be.”
The sentiment captured the larger purpose of the presentation: to communicate not just what the brand makes, but the values and perspective shaping its identity.
As contemporary menswear continues to negotiate the balance between tailoring, comfort, versatility and personal expression, House of Aldeno is placing the product at the centre of its narrative. Its latest collection offers a vision of luxury that is less about overt display and more about the interplay of craftsmanship, thoughtful materials and the evolving ways in which men dress.
